I love reading, writing, and learning foreign languages. I'm a bit introverted and love listening. I can be an extremely complicated person, but sometimes very uncomplicated. I suppose that is the best way to describe me, I tend to be the very middle of everything. That doesn't mean that I am wishy-washy, it just means that I like to consider all sides of something before I make my decisions.

I love to travel, and once I have my degree and begin teaching I am looking forward to having the summers off so that I can spend time traveling.

I am very shy, in fact even filling out this profile is making me slightly uncomfortable. Lol, despite what the personal trophies on my profile show, I can be quite compassionate and caring, but that is after I have gotten to know someone.

I am an avid reader, having over 1200 books in my personal library, almost all of which I have read, and can recall fairly well. I also love to write. A friend and I have written a manuscript which we are editing and for which we are going to begin soliciting publishers.

I do enjoy movies and television, although I must admit I like movies/shows that cause me to think, or take me into a fantasy setting that I can enjoy. I don't watch reality televison, I just haven't seen any that are that appealing to me. I do occasionally watch Hell's Kitchen, but not much more than that. If you were to look through my DVDs you would find things like Stargate SG-1, Doctor Who, The Matrix Trilogy, The Muppet Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, M*A*S*H, Tom and Jerry, The Harry Potter Series, and other things that kind of point to the type of stuff I like.

As far as the books on my bookcases are concerned, you will find anything from physics to religion, fantasy to murder mystery, how-to to dictionaries, reference to children's books. As I stated, I am an avid reader, and will continue to be so for the rest of my life.

I love learning and using languages. I am pursuing a degree in Foreign Language. I am (obviously) fluent in English, between conversational and fluent in German, starting Spanish this summer. I would love to learn French, Italian, Latin, Greek, and just about any other language that I can. What I hope to accomplish with this, is to be able to travel the world and feel at home no matter where I am.

I have always wanted to be a teacher, it is the only profession I have ever considered, so that is what I will be doing professionally as soon as I get my license.

I think that I have rambled enough for now. I am always interested in meeting new people (even though I'm shy), because I find it incredibly fascinating learn what makes other people tick, thereby adding to my knowledge of how the world works.
