It may not always like me, but I kinda like life; fatal attraction though it may be. I'm old enough to do all of the things I always dreamed of doing without someone trying to hold my hand and I'm still young enough that I haven't lost my sense of wonder at the world, or my firm belief that absurdity and adventure is a necessary and healthy ingredient to properly-maintained sanity.

I go wherever the road takes me. To the gym, to the beach, to the city, or maybe just down a long and winding road... I enjoy the change in scenery. It's what keeps me hale and healthy.

I also occasionally design tattoos and home brew beer.

I'm pretty laid back, so I've always found it easy to get along with most people. I like meeting new people and knowing and learning new things.

In spite of life's constant attempts to change this, I have yet to decide that life is hopeless, cruel and/or succumb to the temptation to become just another asshole.

Most likely, though, people probably just notice that I'm tall.

It'll save you a lot of time to just know that I read a lot. At any given time, I'm probably reading at least three books.

Movies: 2024, The City of Lost Children, Pan's Labyrinth, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Planet Earth, Deathrace 2000, American Splendor, Hard Candy, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Brick, Walk Hard, Kung Fu Hustle. I will also mention that I have a special fondness for cheesy giant monster movies from Japan.

TV: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Archer, South Park, Futurama, Metalocalypse, Psych, Arrested Development

Music: Eels, A Perfect Circle, Tool, Puscifer, Queens of the Stone Age, Desert Sessions, Faith No More, Estradasphere, Ween, Dead Mans Bones, Nick Cave, Porcupine Tree, Alkaline Trio, Unwritten Law, Turbonegro, Mumford & Sons, The Mars Volta, The Dandy Warhols, El-P, Atmosphere, Tally Hall, Amorphis, Fintroll, and so many more I needed a new hard drive for them all. I'll listen to anything once.

Food: Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Thai (pasta in general, really), German beer, French and Italian desserts

Life is unbearable without music, art and those nights where you're not even tired but you just feel so comfortable and relaxed because you're nice and full after, say, a barbecue, you're drinking good beer and you're chilling out around a bonfire with your good friends and even if it'll never make sense again, life just seems perfect for those fleeting, shining moments. (The word for that feeling is Gemütlichkeit)

Adventure is also important, whether it's just driving around with no care as to where exactly you end up or a trip abroad.

My last two are both stimuli. One being intellectual and the other being physical. Both are equally important.

I spend a lot of time thinking, period. Sometimes about life, sometimes about love, sometimes about cloud shapes, sometimes about having superpowers.

I tend to let the night take me where it may.

I don't like onions.
