I go to a lot of shows, mostly of the punk and metal variety but
will support my friends regardless of genre. Somehow the whole 90s
indie thing passed me by. I prefer my music slow and dark or fast
and loud. I also listen to a lot of music that has no words but
creeps under my skin. I could list a whole bunch of bands but it
doesn't matter that much and you can message me if you are

Creating a for fun summer reading list for my students is way
harder than it seems. Next challenge...bands they should know. It

I'm vegan and a decent cook. It's a personal choice and I'm not
judgmental about it. that said, the food industry is gross and it
is important to at least be critical and reflective on how we grow
food and what we put in our bodies. I've been trying to perfect
thai coconut milk soup. I made some wild mushroom stuffing recently
and have a soft spot for cincinnati style chili. I don't really
care what others eat but I enjoy cooking food with people. I prefer
food to be a community event and love when I come home and someone
else has made something or offers to cook together.
