My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**March 2013 Update: Kinda met a girl and I'm seeing where it'll go. I've left this here for the time being, but just so you know I'll probably not respond to emails these days. Best of luck to you all out there!**

I have a job that I love, and a good bunch of friends and family. For the most part I'm pretty low-key, but I can have a good time almost anywhere. Generally speaking, I'm a pretty reliable guy. I've been told that I'm a very good listener.

I love to laugh and joke around with people, and I live for those little inside jokes that keep popping up between long-term friends. Most of the time I don't take myself very seriously. Most of the time you shouldn't either. It's not all jokes and whimsy though; I'm also a pretty rational guy and I've been called "well-mannered" by my friends. ...whatever that means. I've found that a cup of tea can solve all the world's problems, if only for a little while.

I like words. Slightly obscure words; slightly old words, slightly unusual words. If I can say "blunder" instead of "mistake", I am secretly delighted. If you have any clever vocabulary to add to my repertoire, you should definitely be in touch.

I travel a lot, especially on the west coast of BC, but I like adventures to... well, just about anywhere! Also, I am ridiculously (endearingly?) gullible and will happily believe anything you tell me. I'd say I'm financially stable, so that's one less thing to worry about.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I moved to Victoria last March, so I'm having a good time exploring the city and discovering new gems. Other than that I am working at building a good friend circle here in town, and trying to become involved in the community more.

Last summer I got to go camping with my best friend since grade 6. He came over from Vancouver and we explored the winding logging roads of the west coast of the island, all the way from Port Renfrew to Tofino. We got rained on, encountered setbacks and delays, bought a jerrycan of gas off a fisherman just to make it to the next station, and generally had the best time ever. I can't wait for this summer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...Taking a big bite of sandwich just before the phone rings.
...Hitting yellow traffic lights at that awkward "too close to stop, too far away to sneak through" distance.
...Remembering exactly where I left my keys.
...Cutting myself shaving right before a first date, so I look like a total spaz. :(

Food? Oh my. I love Thai, sushi, home-made mexican, Italian, Greek, you name it... I mean, there are a few things that don't really turn my crank, but there are so many delicious things in the world.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oh man. Well, there are lots of things that I am fond of, but things that I absolutely cannot do without?

1. My fam and friends
2. Communication, either in internet or android form
3. Deliciousness
4. The ocean
5. Some sort of project on the go.
6. Transportation

There is no such thing as a typical Friday night for me. I am always looking for a new fun Friday adventure.

It is appallingly easy to make me blush. It betrays me at the most inopportune times. Damn you pale skin and bashfulness!!
