I am facetious, humorous, and blah.

My Self-Summary

I've been told that I am an incredibly funny guy, I throw out one liners like candy, and usually can keep people laughing, which is one of my more admirable traits. Also, I'm a bit sarcastic, so I hope you can handle a zinger or 2. Don't take offense to my sarcasm, I'm really a softie at heart, and am looking for someone who can appreciate that, and not just take advantage of it.

Although originally I'm from Long Island, I've lived in and around Philadelphia for about 10 years. I moved back a few years ago, to be closer to my family who mostly live on the Island.

I'm not necessarily looking for anyone in particular. At the very least, I'd like to meet some new friends. I would let things move from there, but I'd like to give online dating a try.

I dont go out to bars very often anymore, but when i do, i prefer a more pub style bar. I like chillin with some friends and some beers. I'm definetely not the clubbing type, just not my scene. Nor am I even close to being the "at the bar every weekend" guy.

I'm a fan of the Jets, Mets, and Islanders. I love skiing in the winter, I've been doing it since I was about 6 years old. Also I'm a rock guy, I like a lot of classic rock too, I dig some jam bands, and also some jazz(would love to go to a jazz club or something like that. I've never been to one before.)

I used to paint when i was younger. Landscape oil paintings (like Bob Ross and his happy little trees). I got out of it for a while, then painted a few murals at an old job of mine a few years back, and havent picked up a brush since. I'd love to get back into it again. I think I may just be looking for inspiration.

I do have other interests, silly and serious, that I'd love to tell you about, and to hear yours as well, but its hard for me to write about myself in such a general fashion. So you'll have to reach out for more questions and answers.

Edit - 7/20/09 - Something nice in my life. Finally got an awesome car, 2008 honda civic si. I'm not a big car guy and im not trying to make it sound like i like to race or anything, but this car is awesome and I want to drive it more places. So if anyone knows any nice places to take a drive, im all ears.

What I’m doing with my life

I work as a lab tech for an optical company on Long Island.

I’m really good at

I'm pretty good with building and upgrading and repairing computers. It all started years ago with PC gaming. I do it on the side sometimes to make a little extra money, my friends and people from my work know that if they have a computer problem, that they can call me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love all kinds of rock. 311, Allman Bros, Bela Fleck, DMB, Deftones, Disco Biscuits, Dispatch, Dredg, Flobots, Hopesfall, Incubus, Jamiroquai, Led Zeppelin, Mos Def, Muse, My Morning Jacket, A Perfect Circle, Porno for Pyros, Smashing Pumpkins, Soulive, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Sublime, Tool and many many others. (Most rock stations on my Sirius are good to me, and Howard Stern too)

Lost, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Shield, South Park, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Dexter

Love comedies, and have always had a thing for zombie flicks (on that topic, the Zombie Survival Guide was an awesome book).
On the zombie front, Left 4 Dead is a guilty pleasure of mine.

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably at home playing video games, watching tv, or otherwise taking it easy, since I work early on Saturday mornings (yay!)

Edit: I dont work on saturday mornings anymore, but its a 50/50 chance that im doing the same thing I used to do on a friday night, when i had work saturday morning. lol.

You should message me if

you get a whim to.
