My Self-Summary

Edit Edit: Just got engaged to a fantastic girl! You're all invited to the wedding :)

EDIT: Right now not really looking for anyone to seriously date. I've got a hell of a schedule right now betweek work and fun, and it wouldn't be fair to have a serious relationship with anyone without having enough time for them. Really looking for people to hang and have fun with :)

During the day my partner and I run a support business going into it's 9th year. I'm excited and proud about that, because it means I get to have the job that the guidance counselor always said doesn't exist: making your own rules and hours and loving it! I live in an apartment that's attached to our store so i get the benefits of not having a commute or extra bills. By night I'm a super hero, and by that i mean that i'm not really a super hero.

I love fixing and working on just about anything, whether it's a car, old bike, anything electronic, ora super doomsday device. I also get the bug to remodel sometimes and have no problems playing with plumbing, wall building, or installing cabinets. I'm always excited driving or using the things that i've rescued or fixed because it's a great feeling of accomplishment and 10 times cheaper than paying someone else to break my toys for me.

I try to learn a little about every subject, it's fun to be informed and helps to have interesting conversations with new and interesting people. I love sharing what i know about anything with anyone and i enjoy learning things that i don't know from them.

Like most guys I love everything fast and shiny, it's in my genes. I plan on spending my whole summer outdoors and around good friends who enjoy making great memories. I joined a kickball league with crazy people i work with, I play ultimate frisbee on sundays, and i plan on going camping almost every weekend. I want to spend lots of time on the water and enjoying the sunshine. At night i want to laugh over a few drinks with friends and a comfortable bar or around a bonfire. I want to spend all day on the bike with someone fun behind me driving wherever we feel like, or laughing when we get caught in the rain. I want my life to be an adventure in both what i do and who i'm spending all that time with, and i'm trying my best to make it come true.

Unlike most guys I: love to read, be somewhat silly when having a good time, and can almost always be talked into cuddling even if my friends are around and think i'm whipped. I'm not a huge sports fan, although going to live games is fun. You won't find me arguing about how a certain play should have been made or being sad because my team didn't make it to the superbowl.

I do enjoy lots of different music and listening to local bands but i'm not a person who defines their life by their music. I enjoy kids, I adore the hell out of my neice and nephew, 5 and 8. (i'm the uncle they love because i spoil them and conspire to have fun behind mom's back). She calls me the anti-parent. I'm not ready for kids of my own just yet (including those belonging to someone i'm dating seriously), although i'm almost 100% sure that i do want them later on.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I'm focusing on keeping things in order and deciding where I want to go long term. Do i want to stay here and continue with what i'm doing or do i want to move around some before settling down? Hard Decisions. Either way I'll try to keep smiling and moving forward!

I’m really good at

Fixing things, thinking out of the box, being stubborn, figuring out solutions, arguing both sides of an issue, making your day better, finding and getting out of mischief.

The first things people usually notice about me

That i'm pretty damn tall. I stoop a bit to fit in, but at 6'6" it's kind of obvious that i'm a giant. Not the kind that eats people, but the cool kind like Carl from Big Fish. Only not deformed.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Lord of the rings the dune series (movies and books), any music really, but heavy rap, i don't mind, prefer different types of rock or some oldies depending on my mood, maybe country.

Movies, well depends who i'm with and my mood, but i like movies that keep you thinking.

As far as foods, well, I'm a guy with my own place. I don't really have a preference for what kind as much as a preference for it. If it's edible, or close to it, then it's on my menu. I have been loving the japanese habachi down the road though, and you can always tempt me with steak. And seafood! I've been on a grilled fish kick for about 6 months now, it might become my new favorite dish.

The six things I could never do without

The internet, my cell phone, the 711 connector, something to be late for, good friends!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything. The future. What i want to do in the short term, and the long term, and how tv and radio have too many ads.

On a typical Friday night I am

Laundry, band show with friends, coffee shop, video games, poker, or just finding something fun to do.

Edit: now that it's warm: jet skiing, camping, boating, or riding the bike and checking out new places i haven't been. Let's hear it for summer!

Edit: Now it's fall: Hot apple cider, walks through the woods, and trying to get friends to hit somewhere scenic before snow falls.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Just because I see the logic in something doesn't mean I'll follow it.

You should message me if

Being spontaneous is fun to you, you like to smile and laugh, and you like road trips to no where. If you think something going wrong makes a date memorable and not ruined.

Just message me! You read this far, and mail makes me feel special! I don't really get that much so I respond to almost every one i get.
