Not that big a movie fan. Favorites at the moment include 2001, Dogma, Blade Runner, Duck Soup, Jeffrey, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Young Frankenstein, Beetlejuice, Stop Making Sense.

Musically I am all over the place. Warren Zevon, Radiohead, Neil Young, Wilco, Norah Jones, Eleni Mandell, Los Lobos, Austin Lounge Lizards, Bonzo Dog Band, Richard Thompson, Decembrists, Flaming Lips, Prince, TV on the Radio. I love a good mashup. "Funky Goes to Hollywood" absolutely rules!

I am mostly a meatitarian (when meat goes bad it turns green, what does that say about stuff that starts out that color?). I love to cook. Made two quiches tonight. A good afternoon is one spent at the grill or over the smoker. I make my own chili powder, and barbecue sauce. Garlic is assumed.

Sex, drugs, rock and roll, science fiction, indoor plumbing and climate control. And cats.

What went wrong.

Anything from watching a ballgame and recuperating from another week in hell to being at a ballgame to catching a local band. Drinking is usually involved.
