My Self-Summary
It is difficult to summarize a self....I like people and try to
play well with others. I don't usually bite. I'm a thoroughly
decent person who is kind to small children and furry creatures. I
love a good tortilla chip, loud thunder storms, university
libraries, a good shiraz, and scantily clad women. I also enjoy
traveling and exploring new places, taking naps, philosophizing.

I have a very good reason for not putting a clear picture up on the web. I would be glad to send you one though. Lately, I have had to start looking like a professional and grown up, but I am most comfortable in a pair of jeans, boots, and a t-shirt. I exist all over the gender universe in presentation. It depends on the day.

I really don't know. After we meet, you should tell me what you
noticed. I just looked and noticed a mop of dark blond hair and an
unfortunate pimple. The latter is probably much more noticeable to

Books: Roland Barthes, "A Lover's Discourse." Nicola Griffith's "Slow River," Kate Bornstein "Gender Outlaw", Pema Chodron's work, Tolkien, anything by Shakespeare. I really love quite a number of books and authors, however. I love to read and wish I had more time for fiction.
Music (for today): The Stills, Snow Patrol, Teegan & Sara, Yellowcard, Smashing Pumpkins, Keane, Editors, The Cliks, Linkin Park, Annie Lennox, Damien Rice, Indigo Girls, Weezer, Bach, most other music, as long as it's good!
Movies/TV: Michael Moore, Star Wars, Battlestar Gallactica, Meerkat Manor, It's Me or the Dog, the Closer, Children of Men, La Femme Nikita, many more

On a typical Friday night I am
Procrastinating on my dissertation by doing any number of
activities. At the moment, I just moved to a place where I know
very few people, so the activities are often solitary unless I
drive to Chicago.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I often eat cereal for dinner. It is a sad state of affairs.
