My self-summary
Ok, so it occurred to me today that I have had this profile for over 5 years on here. Well, I think it's high time I ripped it all down and started new. A lot happens in half a decade and a lot changes.

So lets start with a few of the obvious things. I'm a big Viking in a modern world. I went to culinary school as my midlife crisis career change, and then worked a line at a 5 star restaurant. I had an injury that got worse and I didn't take care of it properly and I ended up disabled and unable to walk without crutches or a cane.

I have a wonderful family with an amazing partner of 16 years. We have an open, poly relationship and we are very happy that way. We have 4 amazing kids and a wonderful life that just seems to get better and better.

But we also know that neither of us can be EVERYTHING to the other and we are fine sharing with others. We also have a lot of love and emotion to give and we want to share that too.

So here I am. I big red headed Viking, that knits, cooks, can't walk very far, and loves to cuddle up and watch Netflix.

I would like to find a woman that I can hang out with, take out to dinner, care for and have her care for me. Someone that understands that I have a family, but when I'm with her, she has all my attention.

I am open to any and all questions, so feel free to drop me a line.

Since everyone else seems to have a KIK account now I figured I should join the masses.

What I’m doing with my life
Since I can't walk as much or as easily as I used to, I spend a lot of time at home. I love to sit in front of a Netflix show and knit and design knitwear. I have recently thought about writing a book but I'm not really sure how to start. I would love some advice on that if you have any.
I’m really good at
I think I'm really good at alot of things personally. I'm a good dad, I'm a great knitwear designer. I think I'm a good friend. I hope to find some new friends on here that I can get to know. Doesn't have to be romantic or sexual ( though I'm not going to turn that down ) but new people to get to know and go do things with.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well, it's either my height, my deep blue eyes, or my red beard.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
My mind likes to wander in all sorts of directions. I think about my faith as well as other faiths around the globe. I think about how hard it is for an honest poly guy to find a "friend" who doesn't think that he is just some scumbag cheating on his significant other. But mostly I think about humanity and how common sense isn't that common, how most people don't think before they open thier mouths, and how if we all just took a step back from our lives for a second we would gain so much perspective on the world as a whole.
I have also spent a lot of time as of late wondering about if autism might be the next step in human evolution. A step that takes us closer to a more peaceful and talented people.
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday nights are pretty open for me. I love going out for dinner and trying new and interesting cuisines from all over the world.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I sleep at night I look like an elephant and sound like Darth Vader. In case you don't get the reference. I have sleep apnea. So I have this air pump hooked to my face pumping air into my nose thru a hose so I don't die while I'm sleeping. Not the sexiest thing to sleep next to, but at least I don't snore anymore.
You should message me if
You actually made it thru my whole profile. I know it's a lot to read, but I believe is being honest and putting all my cards on the table. That way the people I do connect to will know what they are getting before even writing their first email.
