My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ok, since I have obviously not updated this profile in more than a year let me catch all up on the new items in my life. First, I have finished Culinary school and am now working in the food industry as a chef. This means that I don't have lots of time off to get together but the time I do have is well worth the wait.
Pretty much everything else below is still the same although I don't get as much time to watch tv or netflix anymore.

I'm a 39 yr old father of 5 in Agawam. I have been in an open polyamorous relationship with my kids' mom for over 7 yrs now. I'm 6'4", and an ex body builder. The "ex" part refers to the fact I still have the size and some of the strength but have lost the definition over the years. I like to ride motorcycles, workout, and knit. Yes I said knit, like with 2 sticks and yarn. I find it relaxing and a wonderful way to fill all the times I'm stuck waiting for things, e.g. Doctors appts, waitresses at restaurants, etc.

I'm a big Sci-fi fan and I love to lay back on my couch and watch Sifi channel or Food Network. And Netflix, can't live without that.

I will admit to being addicted to my smart phone and I have it and I'm playing on it as often as I can.

Anything else about me you will have to ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I decided to chase after my dream of becoming a professional chef and went to Culinary School. I am currently working in the field and playing with flavors when I'm at home. I love to combine flavor profiles that don't "usually" go together and seeing what happens.

For many many years I was the personal assistant to a regional Vice President of a huge company. I have since left that field to avoid burning out and find that I'm much happier working with my hands in a warehouse sorting parts and moving boxes. I know it sounds like a step down, but I was so close to hating everything about my old job that this is the best move for me at this time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think I'm really good at alot of things personally. I'm a good dad, I'm a great knitwear designer. I think I'm a good friend. I hope to find some new friends on here that I can get to know. Doesn't have to be romantic or sexual ( though I'm not going to turn that down ) but new people to get to know and go do things with.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, it's either my height, my deep blue eyes, or my red beard.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. The people I love.
2. My cell phone.
3. Fully stocked knitting bag.
4. Motorcycle with full tank of gas.
5. Hooters restaurant.
6. A copy of the Havamal.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My mind likes to wander in all sorts of directions. And working with boxes and not people gives me alot of time to ponder the universe. I think about my faith as well as other faiths around the globe. I think about how hard it is for an honest poly guy to find a "friend" who doesn't think that he is just some scumbag cheating on his significant other. But mostly I think about humanity and how common sense isn't that common, how most people don't think before they open thier mouths, and how if we all just took a step back from our lives for a second we would gain so much perspective on the world as a whole.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Now that I'm working in a restaurant Fridays are hard. My "friday" is more like tuesday or wednesday. I can get the occasional day off but the food industry waits for no chef.

Well, most Friday nights I'm at knitting group in Windsor CT. I like to sit around, chat, and work on whatever project is on my needles. Afterwards we usually go out to dinner as a group and chat somemore. I know it doesn't sound that impressive, but it's my winding down from the week time and it's very relaxing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I sleep at night I look like an elephant and sound like Darth Vader.
