My self-summary
I'm originally from Philly, but I've been in New York for 4 years and I love living in this city, despite being an Eagles fan.

Being around my family and friends is my favorite way to spend my time when I’m not at work. I enjoy doing a variety of things - playing golf, traveling somewhere new, going to a museum, wine tasting. In my down time, I'm a big reader and could spend all day in a bookstore. I am always up for talking about what is going on in the world. Unless it's about finding that damn Malaysian Airlines plane.

I have a good sense of humor and most people consider me as a good conversationalist. I appreciate sarcasm and an ability to laugh at yourself.

It looks like I also like to start sentences with "I," which I don't like, but I also don't really like rambling on about myself in this format, so oh well. I'm a reader, not a writer.

What I’m doing with my life
Just finishing up my residency and I love what I do. Helping others is important to me. Where I work, one day is never like the next, which is tough, but a challenge that keeps me going and keeps things interesting.
I’m really good at
Celebrity. Rock paper scissors. Roller blading. Holding my breath under water. Ok, now I sound arrogant, like I'm so good at everything. What am I bad at? Staring contests. Feeling earthquakes. And it feels like writing self summaries on dating websites.
The first things people usually notice about me
After my height, that I'm genuine and easy to talk to.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm usually reading several things at the same time. The Atlantic. The New Yorker. Rolling Stone. Just finished The Circle, just started Noonday Demon.

I have a great time listening to pretty much any type of music live. Love the Black Keys, Rolling Stones, the XX, Keb' Mo', Florence and the Machine, southern rock.

Christmas Vacation, The Departed, Good Will Hunting. Thought Her was best movie of the year. I can pretty much recite Dumb and Dumber.

I'm still in awe of True Detective, Breaking Bad, West Wing (never thought there'd be a better show, but House of Cards is up there), The Daily Show, GOT. I want to like the Newsroom, but I am usually disappointed and bordering on hating most of the characters.

I enjoy finding smaller, less well known places to eat. The atmosphere is just as important as the quality.
The six things I could never do without
My Family - I can't not put this first

What I'm going to do next weekend. Or more importantly next vacation.

How some people think healthcare is a privilege and not a right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm told I have a good voice. But that would mean admitting that I learned this by singing in a choir when I was growing up. It was torture.
