My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I keep my apartment stocked with Moscow Mule ingredients at all times.

I'm unapologetically enthusiastic about a lot of things. Able to add hyperbole to any sentence. A little bit of a workaholic. A giant fan of all things Olympic.

Grew up in New York, went to school in New Orleans, and have been in DC for 3+ years (much to my surprise). I think I like it here?

But, I would rather be at a beach than basically anywhere else. Can you blame me?

I just got a bike so now I just need to figure out how not to be totally scared while riding it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I go to and lead a lot of "brainstorming sessions" and write things for a living, so, yeah, I love my job.

Trying to find a way to make my little corner of the world a little better, a little brighter.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Puns and parentheticals. Wii dancing. Watching tennis (and sometimes playing). Interrupting you (I'm working on it). Marathon Netflix viewing. Ice breakers. Whiskey shots.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How do I know? Someone once told me I have eyes like a cat. You can do with that what you want. Also, my Kelly Kapowski-like hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book: Lots of fiction and anything about World War II (weird?). Some favorites include: Dave Eggers, Jennifer Egan, and I am proud to controversially state my love of Franzen's Freedom -- it was excellent. Also, Harry Potter. Also, the Art of Fielding -- go read it.

Movies: Apollo 13 (seriously, it's a classic), Dead Poet's Society, Miracle, Home Alone, period movies with Kira Knightly, Indiana Jones.

TV: Friday Night Lights (Texas forever), The West Wing, The Wire, Parks & Rec, Mad Men, Happy Endings, Arrested Development, The Wonder Years, and so many more

Music: I once met Paul McCartney so I am forever first a Beatles fan. Elton John knows my heart. Hall & Oates for karaoke. I'm certain that Jay-Z and I would be great friends (you can ask me more about this theory but that pretty much is the whole thing). Not ashamed to say that Guster is probably my all time favorite group. Have been doing a lot of First Aid Kit and Haim.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
British accents
The Olympics (don't make me pick)
NPR podcasts
Coach Eric Taylor
Pictures of Joe Biden eating ice cream
Big windows that open
And throwing in socks as a 7th
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Stringer Bell. Oxford commas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
enthusiastically enjoying whatever it is I am doing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think 99% of what Aaron Sorkin writes is perfect.
You should message me if
