I am witty, passionate, and a hopeless romantic.

My Self-Summary

I've been called a hopeless romantic, which I like to think is a good thing. I am in love with the idea of love. I wear my heart on my sleeve and though it doesn't always serve me well, its who I am. I have no regrets about anything in life, and believe that we all make mistakes so we can learn from them. Music is my life, though I can't play an instrument to save the world. I think that live music in all forms is beautiful and amazing and moving. I enjoy going out, being social and living life to its fullest, but I am also content staying in and cuddling on the couch with a good man and a good movie.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently pursuing a career in music marketing, advertising and promotions, working at a music venue in Baltimore. I'm doing what I love and I have the greatest job in the world!

I’m really good at

I’m really good at making people laugh, listening, giving advice, and spotting a good band. I am not good at cracking eggs. Never been able to nail that one down. Is that weird?

The first things people usually notice about me

The first things people usually notice about me are my staggering height (or lack thereof) the constant smile on my face (I'm easily amused and will laugh at the drop of a hat) and my outgoing personality. How cliche.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Anything and everything by Augusten Burroughs, Almost anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Water for Elephants. Currently reading Exile In Guyville: How a Punk Redneck Faggot Texan Moved to West Hollywood and Refused to be Shiny and Happy. The title in no way describes me, but the book is incredibly entertaining.

Movies: The Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko, Boogie Nights, The Professional, Good Will Hunting, Dazed and Confused, Anchorman, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Traffic, Maria Full of Grace, American Psycho, The Wrestler, Slumdog Millionaire

Music: Currently into tracking down every Florence + The Machine remix I can get my hands on. All time faves include Ryan Adams, Wilco, MIA, Rilo Kiley, MGMT, Modest Mouse, Santogold, Radiohead, Kings of Leon, Daft Punk, Arcade Fire, Pavement, Mika, Killers, Avett Brothers, Pixies, White Stripes, My Morning Jacket, Spoon, Spank Rock, Baltimore Club Music.

Food: If its good and cheap I'll probably eat it, though I can get down with a good steak and a nice bottle of wine too.

The six things I could never do without

good music
good friends
good beer
good wine
good food
my dog

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The future. What my next move will be. Who I'll end up with. Where I'll end up. All that fun stuff.

On a typical Friday night I am

Going out to a bar or to see a band, out to dinner with friends, or at home watching a movie.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Nothing. But once we start talking, I'm an open book.

You should message me if

Message me if you think I sound interesting or funny or you just want to get to know me better. I'm pretty easy to talk to. I don't bite.
