I am originally from Lexington, Kentucky and have lived here most of my life with some brief stops in New York and Ohio for my dad's horse business. I lived on a farm until I turned 18 (went to college) and helped care for our many horses and cattle. I got my bachelor's degree at UK a couple of years ago in Dietetics and am working on and almost finished with my master's in the same area. I would like to start a PhD in the near-future in Food Science. I see myself as a very compassionate person. I get along with most people that I meet. God, family, and friends are the most important things in my life and I do not know what i'd do without them. I'm the type of person that likes to go with the flow and am generally down for trying new things (I would like to go white water rafting soon). Since my education/work is so food oriented I have become rather good at cooking. I like trying new recipes, inventing my own, and altering existing ones. Last winter I got my first dog as an adult. He is a Husky and his name is Dakota! When the fall comes I like to go to Red River Gorge and hike/take pictures. I don't typically go out and party but I like trying new beers and wines, coffee is good too. I am fairly conservative and a Roman Catholic. However, I am not an extremist or have any radical beliefs that I try and press upon others.
