So, a brief summary without sounding like a vain tool [smart, charming, funny], or like I asked my mom to describe me [kind, loyal, handsome young man]?

I am friendly, joyful, and was told once as a kid that I was incorrigible. I would like to think that still has some truth to it.

What I’m doing with my life

Live in SF, work in Oakland, from Seattle, bored already writing this.

Take two - I work for a small, union-side law firm. The other sixteen-ish hours a day I am either living my life, or frittering it away with my new dog, to whom I am trying to teach the "return" part of fetch. UPDATE: he still likes running away with the ball.

Other things -- have friends, do stuff.

I’m really good at

Mixed bag -- friendliness, law stuff, board games, not taking no for an answer when speaking to corporate call centers (the trick: be polite, but refuse to hang up), multiple choice tests, over-sharing, other things.

My overuse of parentheses, if writing. My arresting blue eyes, if in person. jk, jk.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

A snapshot: E.L. Doctorow, Margaret Atwood, Erik Larson, Wet Hot American Summer, Sneakers, Freaks and Geeks, Discovery, avocados, IPAs, trashy sci-fi, feeling superior to bay bridge drivers while reading on BART.

Not so much: A Separate Peace, Brad Easton Ellis, Over the Rainbow on the uke.

Also: "I like your nurse's uniform, guy." "These are O.R. scrubs." "O, R they?"

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Whether that last answer was too cornball. Borderline...

And I spend more time than is probably good for me reading and thinking about politics, legal developments and other wonkish stuff, but mainly while procrastinating at work.
