My Self-Summary
I recently moved to NY from Chicago. I have a Phd in physics, and I
am currently working as a post doc at NYU. So yeah, I'm kind of a
nerd ... but my mom says I'm cool. I've spent the last five years
of my life studying sand. Seriously.
Like most people, I'm enjoying exploring the city and finding new things to do. Bars, restaurants, coffee shops, parks, theater, music, good art, weird art, questionable art ... I generally enjoy a good adventure. It would be nice to find someone to explore the city with me.

The first things people usually notice about me
My hair has this spiky brittleness that comes from swimming to
much. I kind of like it.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
books: currently reading 'Gravity's Rainbow', just finished 'On
Beauty' by Zadie Smith. fan of Vonnegut, Salinger, Kundera, too
many others to list. I also spend (waste) a lot of time reading
random blogs and news sites.
movies: The Life Aquatic, other films by Wes Anderson, pretentious foreign films (looking at you Godard), cheesy action films, a lot of stuff in between
