Life is a gift from God and I want to enjoy unwrapping it every day! Sunsets, sunrises, mist and moonlight are special - so are thunderstorms, sitting on beach and just watching the waves, talking to and.... really listening to someone, playing with a puppy or a kitten and surprising someone with a little gift, a hug or a kiss 'just because'. I enjoy interacting with others and people make my world go around. My life is busy but never too busy to find time to meet someone new. Laughter is important even though life is quite a serious business and laughter at oneself is vital. I can do that! Giving time to a needy cause, a charity or the seniors amongst us is always a pleasure. Loyalty, integrity, kindness and being genuine are equally important to me.

Like most people, I look for friendship, getting to know someone, trusting we will find common ground and can share with one another. Don't judge me by a picture! Get to know me! You may just be surprised!

Enjoying every day of it as much as I can. My mom always said the devil was an idle person's pillow so my hands are never still. Neither is my mind and that's what keeps me active, interested and motivated.

Listening, listening and... hearing! I'm also pretty good in the kitchen and although I don't do windows and, cleaning up is a chore I don't mind getting stuck in! I could probably iron the neigbourhood's washing if only someone sat and chatted to me whilst I was doing so!
I'm pretty good at solving problems and happiest when I can motivate someone to see the glass as half full rather than the opposite.

My helpfulness, my kindness and my willingness to go the extra mile. And... when they get to know me, the funny side of me.

Books : Not fussy really but my favourites are Dan Brown, Sydney Sheldon and James Clavell.
Movies : Sci-fi usually but a good drama will do too.
Music : Light classics and dreamy gentle instrumentals
Food : Anything but organs! Chinese and Italian rate high on my list.

My faith, my dog, lots of loving, friends and friendship, my comfortable slippers and... the odd chocolate or two!

Meeting new people, what I can do to help others less fortunate than myself, how the chaos in the world will play itself out, whether I will be be part of life after death, finding ways to learn more or at least be more tolerant of that which I don't understand and wishing I had a magic wand to "fix" all the sadness and misery!
