hmmm... some of those are just plain not true.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Writing. a lot. I currently have two screenplays and a few stage
plays at various drafts and stages of completion. Some of them are
for the budding theater company that a group of friends and I
started. Meetings/fundraisers for that take up some time. Our first
full length production will go up in April. I have a 9-5 job
working for the state in mortgage broker license regulation.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
any number of trivial and useless talents that still manage to
impress people. including, but certainly not limited to: rolling a
coin across my knuckles, frantic/sporadic bursts of successful
juggling, reciting the alphabet backwards, and solving a rubik's
cube. I am an above average poker player and always looking for a
game. I am fairly proficient at walking without injuring myself.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
If you asked other people they'd probably say my eyes.
But you asked me, so I'm going to lie and tell you it's my
rippling, muscular build and the gentle, soothing baritone of my
voice.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
I enjoy each of the above categories, but what I really enjoy about
them is discussing these things in person. It's probably my
favorite way to get to know someone or let them get to know me. So
ask me what books I'm currently reading, what movies inspire me, my
categorical analysis of pop culture criticism. My personality comes
across better in actual conversation anyway. (and it will help me
pretend that getting to know someone online isn't that different
from face to face)
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
I'm going to assume they're going for items I value highly (for the
purposes of establishing my personality) as opposed to those I
could literally not live without.
1. composition notebook/mechanical pencil
2. a crossword puzzle
3. Thai restaurant within delivering distance
4. TV on DVD (having that next episode right there can be
addicting/distracting)
5. a book (if it has to be specific High Fidelity would be
appropriate, given the list structure)
6. another person
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Well, I've spent a lot of time thinking about how to answer this
question without embarrassing myself. Basically, I think in
dialogue. If I see two people on the L, I might imagine what they
would talk to each other about. Sometimes I practice conversations
I'll be having later. It's really great for my writing, but
probably not something I should mention on a Personals profile.
whoops.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Some of the potential answers to that question include (with
ascending energy requirement):
-ordering thai food and watching a movie (or the aforementioned TV
on DVD)
-having people over for some rousing low-stakes poker action
-attending rehearsal/administrative meetings when required
-going out/meeting friends/meeting you? what are you doing
friday?
-spending the night as my crime fighting alter-ego 'the scourge'
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I'm not as cynical as I make myself out to be. I get swept up
easily in the moment, and that leads to a lot of 'guilty
pleasures'. whether that means listening to Journey or watching a
Michael Bay film (that swooping low angle slow motion shot that's
in all his movies gets me just about every time).
You should message me if Propose an edit
...you can keep up. That's it. The one prerequisite I have. It's
all encompassing enough that it covers a lot of ground, and also
very specific for every category it applies to. I consider myself
intelligent, witty, sarcastic, and playful, and I'm looking for
someone who fits all of those categories enough that they can keep
up. Hope to hear from you.
Also if you are EVER looking for a game of poker. We have a
rotating group of people that play, but could always use another
player.
Edit: I've been living outside my means for a while and am now
suffering the financial consequences of my frivolity. So, message
me if you're interested in staying in and watching a movie and
eating whatever's in my fridge. Seriously, I'd love the company.
