I saw this on another profile and liked the idea of a list
(mainly because I love making lists):
-I am a very independent woman with high aspirations in life.
-I am originally from the Netherlands.
-I have traveled to 23 countries and plan on visiting many
more.
-I'm a city person who is very sociable but also doesn't mind
staying in.
-If I don't have my agenda, I have no clue where I need to
be.
-I'm learning to cook and have done very well, but desserts are my
specialty.
-My dvds are alphabetized.
-I tend to research many subjects on my own even though it is not
required for any of my classes. For instance, I would like to learn
more about, and develop, a better curriculum for higher education
as well as primary education. I'm also interested in America's
increasing problem with debt.
-Old school video games rock. I will whoop anyone's butt at
Mario.
-I love playing games like air hockey or board games but I'm very
competitive. Don't mind the yelling, it's all in good fun.
-I hate movies that use "so stupid it's funny" humor. Really, it's
not that funny. Napoleon Dynamite and just about any Will Ferrel
movie fall into this category.
-My friends, family, and dog mean the world to me.
-I like weird names.
-Ketchup, peanut butter, and anything that swims will not make an
appearance in my diet.
-Speaking of diets, I've never been on one.
-I love office supplies. There is just no explanation for that,
just go with it.
-I usually forget to turn on the TV even though I've written down
when the shows I like are on.
-If you can make me laugh, I'm all yours.
-I tend to date older men. Usually the men I date are between the
ages of 27-35. I've never really gotten along with people my own
age and most of my friends are older as well.
-I am honest to a fault. You may not like what I have to say, but
at least I was honest.
-I love sports. Football (both American and soccer) are my
favorites. I love tackling people. I think baseball and golf are
more boring than spending the next twenty years in a nursing
home.
-I've never had a guy buy me a drink at a bar. I've had the
opportunity but it's just not my style. I don't want to use someone
and I'm not going to talk to you for a silly reason like that. If I
like you, I'll talk to you.
-I dream about Bodega's grilled chicken paninis (without the
spinach).
-If you want to impress me, be honest, intelligent, and most
importantly, be yourself.
Now before you go on, I feel I must warn you- I'm a bitch, I will
hurt you. There's my disclaimer.
I love anything by Amy Tan, Erma Bombeck, Arthur Hailey, and Tom
Sharpe. Other than that, it depends on the book. My favorite types
of movies are comedies.
My favorite movie is Weekend at Bernie's. I also love watching
documentaries, but I promise I won't subject you to that
(especially since you'll distract me from taking notes). I like
watching movies I've never heard of that look interesting although
past experience tells me that there's a reason I haven't heard of
it.
I enjoy all kinds of music, there are just certain songs or artists
I don't care for. I especially like O.A.R., Jack Johnson, Jason
Mraz, and the Beatles. I suck at knowing the names of songs or
artists, but once I hear a song I can recognize it as one I
like.
I'm definitely not a health nut but fortunately I've been blessed
with good genes. I eat a lot of fried foods, ice cream, and donuts
but I balance it out with fruits and vegetables.
1. My dog
2. A toothbrush
3. My agenda
4. My family and friends
5. Books and other forms of information
6. Nothing else, I firmly believe in noting the difference between
wants and needs.
