I am Awesome, fun, and random.

My Self-Summary

**If you're not going to bother reading my profile, DO NOT message me. Thanks!**

I'm 21 years old and in no hurry to grow up. I am slowly changing my life and my inner self. I'm learning a lot about myself, and really growing as a person. So far I'm happy with the outcome.

I'm generally a friendly person; I get along with most but I don't have very many people I call a friend. A few close friends is better than a shit ton of acquaintances.

I'm a big ball of love. I like to love, and be loved. I'm a very affectionate, and caring person despite being extremely sarcastic, and a bit too honest sometimes. But I will always be there to help someone in any way that I can. I like to give hugs even if I don't know you all that well. I like to make others happy.

I am a random and slightly weird person. I can forget what I'm talking about right when I'm talking about it. I like to dance. A lot. The dollar store is my favorite place to go. I like to go there, buy random things, and give those random things to people I like. Nothing says you're awesome like something you absolutely do not need or do not expect to get.

I dislike labels quite a bit. I understand that some of them are necessary and can't be avoided, but alot of them are not necessary and simply do not matter. You don't judge people by what they say they are, who they love, what color they are or what gender they are. You get to know them for what's in their hearts. Nothing in life is black and white so to stereotype someone for stupid reasons is just plain wrong. I don't wanna ramble on about this too much, but treating everyone equally and not looking down on them for things they can't help is very important to me.

I choose not to label myself with a sexual orientation. At the very least I'll say that I'm pomosexual but okc isn't cool enough to have that option or cool enough to not make you choose one. Love comes in many colors, many shapes, many different packages. All that matters is what's on the inside and how they treat me.

I really like going to the park for no reason other than to enjoy the atmosphere.

The cleaning supplies aisle is one of my favorite aisles in the store.

Being dishonest and being disrespectful are definite ways to get me to not speak to you for a very long time.

I really do like long walks on the beach.

I've been driving my car around without a bumper for almost 2 years now. It looks like a monster that eats the souls of children. I call her Juliet. Because that name is cool.

I just recently got out of a relationship and I'm really REALLY not looking to get into another one any time soon. It's probably for your own good anyway trust me. :) But friends are something I'll never turn down! New people are always welcome in my life if they are cool enough :)

What I’m doing with my life

Nothing at the moment... going to school eventually. I had to take a break from school. I'll be going for music education. Probably teach high school kids.

One day I plan to write a very fantastic musical and when that day comes it'll probably always be one of the happiest days of my life.

I want to be a composer. I also want to sing. There's something about being on stage that just makes everything feel like it's right. It gives you this weird sort of high that I miss very much. I wanna be a chorus teacher. Maybe I'll do them all and more.

I am currently learning how to play the violin. It makes me extremely happy inside.

Oh and I work overnight at Wal-Mart. Joy.

I’m really good at

Singing. It's what I love doing the most out of all the things that I do. I enjoy singing arias a whole lot. I think singing classical is more difficult than just regular singing because it takes a lot more work. I can do regular singing too. Over the years I've learned to sing different genres and I'm really proud of that. :) Know of any good voice teachers around Orlando? I kind of need to start going to one again.

Cooking. Everything I cook usually turns out well. My family thinks my shrimp alfredo is fantastic. I think it's good but not great but everyone is their worst critic. I cook good spaghetti, lasagna, baked chicken and awesome string beans. I cook a good roast too but I never count that because I don't do much to it. But I guess the seasoning is everything. Or something. Learning how to cook new things is always incredibly fun too. If you have any recipes you'd like to share let me know! :)

Jewelry Making. That was one of my favorite classes in high school and I continued it well after I left. I wear the jewelry that I make on occasion and I do enjoy making jewelry for the people I think are cool. I like finding cool beads and buttons to make jewelry with. I like making cool bracelets with a bead loom though it does take a long time. The finished result is always cool though. So if I ever make you jewelry be happy because I put a lot of work and love in to it. :) If you know where I can get cool beads for a decent price I will love you long time for the info.

The first things people usually notice about me

People say I have a pretty smile. And pretty eyes. And that I have awesome boots. Or probably what I'm wearing. I usually get complimented on that a lot.

quixion42:Definitely the superhero build, the whole, "looking like you could rip off your clothes and have a costume on under there and dashing off to save the day" thing totally catches the eye!

themyscira: Her elegant, gentle, sweet beauty that emerges from within with her presence. Her maturity that shows you, how inteligent and attractive she is; when in conversations.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

All the Harry Potters. The last one was AMAZING. So amazing that I'm going to read it again. I remember reading Of Mice and Men. That was a pretty good book. It made me cry so that meant it had to be good since books and movies don't make me cry. With the exception of Rent and Passion of the Christ. The latter was just awful to watch and I'll never watch that movie again for the rest of my life.

Right now I'm indulging in lots and lots of comics. I recently finished reading watchmen. I've also read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That book tends to be on everyones favorites list but it's just that good I guess. I always try to have a book to read. I also really enjoy poems by Emily Dickinson.

Favorite movie is Rent. We can add Phantom of the Opera and Across the Universe in there too. I like musicals. I'm not all that thrilled about movies honestly, which is funny because I worked at a movie store for almost a year. I barely watched any of the movies. If you have a good movie to recommend let me know. I don't go out searching for movies to watch but if one is suggested to me I'll probably watch it.

Music-wise, too much to name. I love all types of music. From Ella Fitzgerald to The Clash, to Ciara, to Slipknot and Bach. I love it all. My ultimate fav. band is System of a Down...on good days. Because I can also put Avenged Sevenfold or Coheed and Cambria there as my ultimate favorite and be content with that. She wants revenge captivates my fucking heart! But I'm trying really hard not to name all the amazing musicians that I love so I'm just going to stop talking now.

My fav. type of food is Chinese. Fried rice (shrimp fried or pork fried) is one of the greatest foods ever, hands down! I pretty much think almost all rice is amazing. And I absolutely love sushi. And pasta.

The six things I could never do without

1. Music.
2. Computer.
3. Food.
4. Love.
5. My friends.
6. Individualism

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Myself. How I can change myself for the better without taking away who I am as a person.

Things that have happened in my past and the lessons they've taught me.

How to make life more exciting.

What I'm going to do next.

On a typical Friday night I am

Playing World of Warcraft. Not even gonna lie. My main is an undead shadow priest who I love with all my heart. If you are a girl who plays wow I'd love to hear from you about what you play what server you're on, etc. Nothing against the guys, just girls have it so much harder in that game than you all do. I need to bond with my sisters!

I usually work most nights. I am free during the day and that's when people are usually busy working and going to school and all those lame things.

But during my spare time I just like to take it easy. I'm not big on parties and going out being wild and crazy, but I do go to small get togethers from time to time. I'm really trying to get out more and do more things. It's a work in progress.

I'm making it a habit now to force myself out of the house and do something. Usually with someone. Which means i have to make myself talk to people. It's kind of hard. But at the end of the night I'm happy because I had a fucking blast.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I seem pretty outgoing, but I have social anxiety. I probably won't be the person asking you to hang out; I hope you'll be asking me.
(I take that back. I'll ask you to hang out. But I'll be incredibly nervous and my hands will shake as I do so.)

I draw but you'll probably never ever see my drawings.

I have a nerd fetish. :D

I like polyamory better than monogamy.

I talk like a white girl apparently. It's really annoying that people say it like that because I don't talk like a typical black person.

The way to my heart is through my stomach. If you cook for me I'll think you're amazing. Cooking together is also pretty nice. :)

I'm on my way to becoming an alcoholic. Yaaay! Or not...

You should message me if

If you have something awesome to say. If you don't have something awesome to say. Don't be afraid; I'll most likely respond back.

If you think you could be a good friend to me. Because I want friends. There is currently an open in my life for a new best friend.. So if you think we might get along and wanna hang out feel free to say hi. :)

Don't message me if you just want sex. That option isn't there in the Looking For section for a reason.

If we can talk about poetry, go see plays together, and tell each other about weird facts we learned off the discovery channel.

If I can talk music with you. Not just "Oh my God this band sounds good" but go into more detail about it. I was going to give examples, but I saw myself going into a really long rant about artists and I knew that I shouldn't do that. Not here. And if I can talk to you about classical stuff and classical composers too then you need to message me. Right now. But if I can have talks with you about any style of music I will be really thrilled to talk you!

You should message me if you can get me out of the house more than once a month. =\ Tell me about cool and unique things to do around Orlando.

You should message me because I'm probably too scared to message you. :(

Emeraldchika44. AIM me.
