introspective, silly, and affectionate
My self-summary Propose an edit
One of my favorite words is 'perpetual.' I hate commuter traffic. I
study moving image stuff, and the night sky fascinates me.
Sometimes, I'm lame enough to do things like go bowling with my
friends (if they ask nicely). I love flea markets and used book
stores and always prefer reading an old dusty book over a new one.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Finishing grad school for my MA in media while working as an editor
in the medical publishing industry. Exploring the arts of
cameraless filmmaking, relaxing by playing the piano (not too
well), reading through the horde of books in my apartment, and
writing bullshit. I'm often watching movies, and going to the
movies, sometimes by myself. A big part of my life is dedicated to
caring for rescued horses.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Making others laugh and offering them comfort. Even though I don't
hold much patience for myself, I tend to have it for others, unless
the situation's got something to do with computers. Vile machines.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
People compliment my hair a lot, which I think is a little strange.

Laughter, celluloid, horses, affections, old books, the moon.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
The stars in the sky at night, who god(gods?) really is and will we
ever have coffee someday, what it would be like to be a carbon copy
of everybody else, what does loving someone really mean, can we
really breech the space-time continuum, would I be happy living in
an underwater colony, is it possible that flying pink dogdragon in
Neverending Story really exists somewhere, am I really
carbon-made or is there a soul inside, what would manning a flight
to the moon be like, am I qualified to be Vice President?
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Catching a movie, playing Dork Band with friends, staying home to
work on my research paper...it varies! I'm not a club person so if
I end up home on a Friday night, I'm ok with it, but really nice
company is always a big plus, no matter where you are.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I'm a lot better at Rock Band/Guitar Hero than I really ought to
be. But I don't really watch "Lord of the Rings," so the nerd meter
ought to balance itself out, no?
You should message me if Propose an edit
You're a nice guy with enough of an edge to keep things alive. You
can make me laugh and give nice hugs. You can appreciate people
that aren't like everybody else.
