My self-summary
My name's Dyz. Not really, but that's what you can call me. I respond to that equally as I would my legal name.
I'm almost 20 years old. In some ways, I'm not terribly accomplished for my age. But I've spent a lot of time learning to learn, growing as a person, and experiencing as much as possible.
I currently work a late-evening shift full time office job, and am mostly nocturnal.
Usually if I am on here, I am sleep deprived and/or intoxicated. Kindly keep that in mind when my brain doesn't work properly.
I think a lot about everything, the interconnectedness of everything, the concept of nothing, human interaction on all scales, psychology, and other such large conceptual topics.
I'm not putting that in to sound any particular way. It's just how my brain runs.
I out-nerd most nerds, especially in certain fields. (i.e. Magic the Gathering, Sherlock Holmes, history of the internet as we know it.) Much of this is just that I get very passionate about things for short periods of time and learn everything I can about them.
I've been a lot of stereotypes in my life, mostly variations of "Goth". I've been getting away from that for the past couple years, consciously broadening my tastes.
I've been called a badass by a few people. I internally laugh every time. (Who uses that word in a serious manner? I mean, if you do, that's okay, I guess, but you have to admit, it just sounds silly.)
I'm interested in polyamory and think the concept of gender binary is silly. I grew up in a very queer family.
My cat is like my child.
I might be crazy, but no one's really sure yet.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently in a telecommunications job (not telemarketing) that consumes a good portion of my life.
I'm still deciding what to do for college, if anything. Lately I've been kicking around the idea of mortuary school, for a practical job. Less practical aspirations include travelling globally and making money off my art stuff.
I've been also mulling around the idea of art school, or bullshitting around a college taking basic courses with a dash of other things until I figure out what I want to do for a major. Most majors I've considered don't have a practical application I'd want to pursue (i.e. psychology, English, philosophy, art).
Outside of the professional field, I'm a jack of all trades in art, and that takes up a good portion of my spare time. I write fiction and non-fiction, draw, paint (oil paintings), write and draw comics, dance, do poi (somewhat poorly, I'm a newbie to it), and do a little photography but nothing too serious.
I'm currently working on one specific creative project, and it's taking up a lot of my time. (Something that my ADD brain has never done before. It's an exciting time in my life.)
I’m really good at
-cats
-making home made energy drinks
-handling my intoxicants well
-creative stuff
-conversation in person
-drawing, specifically on my drawing tablet
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my height and aesthetic choices, especially hair, usually.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite book: There's a special place in my heart for dystopian British lit. Especially if it takes place in Manchester.
Favorite movies: The Devil's Carnival, Repo! the Genetic Opera, Elvis and Annabelle,
Favorite TV: BBC's Sherlock, Hannibal, Dollhouse, Adventure Time, Eden of the East, Claymore, Elfen Lied
Favorite music: Dresden Dolls, Mindless Self Indulgence, Doctor Steel, Angelspit, Angerfist, Mirah, Voltaire, The Tiger Lillies, Kate Nash, Vermillion Lies, Franz Ferdinand, Doctor Steel, Die Antwoord, mind.in.a.box, Tom Waits, Watsky, Rasputina, non-pop vocaloid music, Regina Spektor, Abney Park (because I'm a good little Steampunk kid), She Wants Revenge. Oh, and Doctor Steel.
Favorite food: Anything good. Especially foreign food. Japanese and Indian. Really spicy equals really good. I am happy when I find a place that serves wings that make me want to cry from heat.

Also, video games: I recently got into Neverwinter, and enjoy the Legend of Zelda games (obviously) though I've never completed them, due to ADD and a deprived childhood, have a deep childhood nostalgia for Sonic the Hedgehog, and play far too many child oriented video games. Oh, and I'll get addicted to Minecraft for a couple weeks at a time before abandoning it for a few months.
I've played a fair amount of video games, but I'm awful at completing them. Only game I can think of in recent times that I finished was Heavy Rain, three years ago. In part due to this, I watch a lot of Let's Plays.
The six things I could never do without
My laptop, my cat, cigarettes, coffee, music, a creative outlet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Thinking. I think about thinking. And how people don't think enough. There's a million things to think about, all the time, and people just don't do it.
I also think about my stories and art quite a lot, as well as human nature, patterns social and otherwise, and the creative output of others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. But, on a day off where several friends have it off, we oftentimes wind up hanging out in a group of 4 or 5 people, drinking coffee and smoking and talking about everything there is to possibly converse about.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've essentially been going through what feels like a midlife crisis for quite a while. I always have an extreme urge toward self-betterment and new experiences and actively pursue such things.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 18–33
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
-If you think I, as a person, am interesting and think that I might similarly find you interesting.
-If you play Magic the Gathering.
-If you play Neverwinter and might want to game with me. (What? I need in-game friends.)
-If you're a cool dude. (I don't know, just message me. If I think you're interesting, I'll message back.)

If you do message me, I am liable to forgo niceties and ask a seemingly random question to get a gist of what you're like and if I want to talk to you.

Also, if I typo'd or was grammatically questionable in a way that made reading this unpleasant. Please tell me. I appreciate that.
