My self-summary
[profile under reconstruction, things might be a little bare for a while]

I use OKC for random periods of time. Not looking for anything in particular, just recovering from an especially toxic recent not-relationship and looking for interesting people to collect while I'm getting my life back in track.

I don't do monogamy, I'm not especially interested in a relationship, but I like date type activities and talking/hanging out with people. Also, seriously, not looking for sex, it's very rare I'm interested in anyone that way. (Though casual hookup culture demands that if you're looking for that, you're probably not reading this far.)

Sorry for being wordy, it's a lifelong process trying to learn the art of brevity for me.
What I’m doing with my life
School. Freelance work. Figuring out how to survive as a broke ass college kid. Geeking out over politics, technology, and everything else. Overanalyzing existence and everything in it. Trying out software for funsies. Sometimes artsy things, including the dead art of essays. (At one point in recent history that was a real writing style, not just a soulless requirement for a bad education system.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Vurt by Jeff Noon. Lovecraft. Hitchhiker’s Guide. Sherlock Holmes. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. 1984. Fight Club. A Clockwork Orange.
Isaac Asimov is my spirit animal. Ray Kurzweil's got nothing on that man as far as futurism, and that wasn't even how Asimov portrayed himself.

Movies: Suicide Club, Dr. Horrible’s Singalong Blog, Howl’s Moving Castle, Donnie Darko, Dogma, Suckerpunch, Ghost in the Shell, Expelled from Paradise (and anything else Gen Urobuchi has done), Mad Max: Fury Road, The Devil’s Carnival,

Shows: True Detective (season 1, haven’t seen season 2), Freakazoid!, Invader Zim, BBC’s Sherlock, The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, The Nightly Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Elfen Lied, Danganronpa, Hellsing Abridged,

Games: Steins;Gate, Chaos;Head, Danganronpa, Minecraft, Pokemans... lots, but mostly visual novels, strategy games, or RPGs. Things with lots of reading.

Music: Amanda Palmer (including Evelyn Evelyn and The Dredsen Dolls), Dr. Steel, Emilie Autumn, Mindless Self Indulgence, Igorrr, t+pazolite, CYBERPUNKERS, Professor Elemental, Die Antwoord, K.Flay, Designer Drugs, Franz Ferdinand, She Wants Revenge, Tom Waits,

Food: Coffee is food, yes? Also spicy food, cheese, and chocolate, all things that make my brain produce happy chemicals.
The six things I could never do without
Internet connection
My cat (and cats in general)
Stimulants (specifically coffee)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The relationship between technology and humanity. Politics. Best and worst case scenarios. How humans operate. Cat behavior. The future. The past and its relevance to the future. Nerdy shit (in case that's not obvious). Language. How to live. The internet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Listening to music and walking. Drinking at a friend’s house (not unique to Fridays or weekends). Browsing the internet. Sometimes homework. Less frequently than homework, writing/drawing/working on personal projects.
You should message me if
... you have things to say other than "hey", because that probably won't get you anywhere unless I'm especially bored.
... you like things I've mentioned, especially the weirder/less common things.
... you're the type that wants to change the world, I'm always interested in hearing ideas about solutions, utopias, supervillain schemes, all that good stuff.
