What I’m doing with my life
Finishing degree (Majors: Psychology, Computer Science)
I’m really good at
Writing - From Creative Writing to Coding and everything in between.
Puzzles - more the convergent kind (like Su Doku) than the lateral kind (like Riddles). Although having a set answer kind of defeats the purpose of lateral thinking imo!!
ADHD - My coping strategies are the best.
Cuddling - Hugs, Kisses, Touching
The first things people usually notice about me
People don't usually notice me, so when they do it's because I'm being an attention whore and that's the first thing they notice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't really make favourites; I like a lot of things, maybe including you! I like variety. There are things that I like and enjoy often (like Caffeine, Video Games and Soup), there are things that are nice in small, infrequent doses (like Action Movies and Irish Cream [the alcoholic kind]), and most of all there are tons of things that I would like to try once even if I might not like them. The only static 'favourites' I have are that my favourite colour is Green and my favourite animal is the Rabbit.

Books: Anything that I can read in one sitting because I sure am not going to remember where I left off. I hardly read any books anymore even though I used to enjoy it. I use the following quote as an excuse:
"Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking."
That said, if a book does manage to grab my attention, I certainly will read it in one sitting.

Movies: I don't watch many movies. Some that I liked for various reasons are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Synecdoche New York, Ghost in the Shell and Mulan. I am looking forward to The Avengers, like every other nerd on the planet!

Shows: I don't own a TV, but I do grab the occasional anime or TV show from friends if they like it enough to buy DVDs or bother me about it...constantly... On the western front, I really liked Firefly, House, and Breaking Bad for example; as far as anime goes, some recent favourites were Steins;gate, Kimi ni Todoke and Bakemonogatari.

Music: I stopped caring what other people think of my musical tastes before not caring what people think of your music tastes was cool. :hipster:
I like anything sound-dense and energetic within certain guidelines. Most of my library consists of electronica.

Food:
* Carrots, Kimchi, Olives, Salad - actually, I love veggies in general, with the exception of Okra.
* Coffee, Earl Grey Tea - anything with caffeine will do, but these make me feel refined.
* Fish, Chicken, Rice & Lentils - I am not a big fan of red meat, so I tend to seek other source of protein. Eggs are delicious in small doses.
* Soup - pretty much any form of soup is a safe bet, to the point that it will overtake any other preference. Pho, Dal, French Onion, and every kind of Cream of X are my favourites.
* Sweets - I love Chocolate and Candy but I am apparently the only person in the world who doesn't like cake and other pastries. Wheaty things in general don't sit well with me, although I'm not strictly gluten free anymore because it's too inconvenient and the 'replacement' stuff isn't much better.

Video Games: I'm not very good at anything that isn't made by Zachtronics Industries, but I play a lot anyway. Recent enjoyments (April 2012) have been:
Fixation - fantastic puzzle game, prequel to Company of Myself
League of Legends - I'm a 1200 ELO player (median, which means I really suck given the pareto principle :p)
Champions Online - A recent patch fixed a TON of complaints, but it's still more of an RP outlet than an immersive gameplay experience, to me.

I also have a dream of one day pushing one of my many game prototypes to release! But I have an annoying habit of working really hard on something for a week or so and then forgetting about it for the rest of eternity.
The six things I could never do without
a. Google (the company itself, not just the search engine.)
b. Friends with beautiful minds
c. Intuition & Curiosity
d. Logic (Formal, mathematical logic - not the silly "my beliefs are logical!" logic)
e. Empathy & Compassion
f. The set of all things which I could never do without and which are not in {a, b, c, d, e}
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lately? human-device interfacing, human-human interfacing (relationships..)
In general: personality, sexuality, evolutionary psychology, neuroanatomy, learning, cognitive biases, social impact of these and more.
PUZZLES! Not Jigsaw puzzles, the "does P=NP?" type of puzzles. The SpaceChem kind of puzzles. The Portal kind of puzzles.
Elegance, information, abstraction, yeah, all that cognitive science stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
a little out of it.

(probably playing a video game)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I'm transsexual, I guess?! Not really private but a lot of people get really shocked or freaked out by it. There's no reason for that, people! I'm a girl and if you think you can 'disagree' with that then please mind your own business.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 18–32
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends
You should message me if
I have won some money or something. I will need a lot of it to fund the voluntary cyberization of humanity.
