I am dorky, intelligent, and nice.

My Self-Summary

Contrary to my user name, I prefer to go by Eli, but either one is fine. I've never met a person that I couldn't make laugh. I'm extremely personable and well-spoken. I don't really see a point in text messages, and I love writing and if you give me a topic I'll write about it.

I tend to be fun. I can make anyone and everyone laugh, but a lot of people often fail to realize there is more to my personality than funny and fun.

I'm a new breed of male. In this I mean I'm not an asshole, I don't have to have sex, and I think that each and every female is beautiful in her own rights, makeup and fancy clothes or not.

I'm a down right nice person, and I understand that that isn't what everyone is looking for.

Like a lot of people, my aspirations go deep. I would love nothing more than to help change the world, even if it's just one mind at a time. I think the overall goal in this world is to promote life and abolish death as best as we can. Wars, drugs, violence, it's all unnecessary.

Sometimes I think I dream too big, but other times I think others just don't dream big enough.

It would be nice to meet someone who I could just hang out with, or maybe go out with sometime. I'm not looking for someone who has a 100% match, and I'm definitely not looking for a random encounter. I think something long term would be great, where I could really get a chance to know the person.

I try to put my full heart into every single thing that I do.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm going to school and finishing up my 2 year associate degree, and then I'm moving on to get my Bachelors in Education so I can be the world's best teacher (or, something like that).

I’m really good at

Being random. I like to have fun and be myself, and that just so happens to include singing without any ability to do so, and making up stories off the top of my head.

Writing. Whether it's color commentary of a football game, or a blog about why the world is habitually getting worse, I'll write about it and enjoy doing it. I eventually plan to write a book, though I'm struggling with the part where I have a topic to write about.

Giving advice. Whether it's to random people or my best friends, I try to do all that I can to help everyone with any problems they are having and offer them any advice possible.

The first things people usually notice about me

Normally it's that I'm fun to be around, and can probably make you laugh. Outside of that, I suppose my smile looks more genuine than most (I didn't think of that, the person that helped me edit did :P). That and I'm more than happy to let someone walk if they don't choose to accept me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Fahrenheit 451, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Kommandant's Girl, and my all time favorite, The Catcher in the Rye

Movies: Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Music and Lyrics, A Walk to Remember, Forrest Gump, Fight Club, Juno, and my very favorite of all time is The Lion King. (Basically, I'll watch any movie and like it.)

Music: Bob Dylan, Flaw, Kelly Clarkson, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, Staind, Flyleaf, Stabbing Westward, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Josh Groban, Josh Gracin, Kenny Rogers, Oasis, Metallica, Radiohead...just like movies, too many to name...but I like a little bit of everything, and almost all modern rock and 60's and 70's rock

The six things I could never do without

1. My friends

2. My summer job working at a camp with kids...I absolutely love it.

3. My car...finally, a reliable car!

4. Cellphone...as stereotypical as it sounds, I have to keep in contact with my friends

5. Ambitions....I have to have something to look forward to or else I'd never be where I am today.

6. Exercise habits...I'm so glad I started working out again.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The world and all of the unjustness it entails...I hate things that aren't fair. I think everyone should be treated just as they are...like a person and based entirely upon their actions, not their outer covers.

I also spend a lot of time wondering how I'm ever going to get through these next couple of years and college and what not...

Just FYI, I'm thinking about random things almost 24/7. Look a bear!

On a typical Friday night I am

Either being boring at home, out with friends hanging , or partying.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm STILL not wearing any socks. Perverts. :P
