There are so many…let's see…

Books: Love Stanley Elkin's books, Kurt Vonnegut's, C.S. Lewis, particularly the Space Trilogy and Narnia. I read a good deal of non-fiction as well, classics, history, philosophy, anthroposophy. Robertson Davies…I could go on, but I'm stopping. Now. Wait - The Steig Larson books were GREAT.

Movies: The Godfather I & II, Tender Mercies, House of Games, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Thin Man, The Deerhunter, Brazil, long list, shortened.

Shows: The Wire, Wire in the Blood, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Lie to Me, more, but not many

Music: All kinds of music - Guillaume de Machaut, Palestrina, Beethoven, Richard Thompson, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Hank Williams, Bach, Beatles, Crash Test Dummies, Yes, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Brian Eno, Bluegrass…

Food: I would be satisfied if Sushi were the only kind of food - but I love all kinds of food and I love to cook.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is hard - I'll come back to it later.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The nature of things, the right form or color, the right note, my work, which gives me a lot to think about from day to day.

No typical Fridays.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
