I like hiking; the smell of the forest stimulates my senses and I love being out in nature. Going for walks, listening to music, ice cream on a Friday (or Saturday) night, going on random adventures, I also really like going to the beach. Feeling the sand between my toes and breathing the moist salt air; the cool ocean breeze on a hot summer day, or a comforting breeze on a warm summer evening are all aspects of the ocean and beach that I love. From watching the waves crash into the jetties, to the gentle sway of the outer waves... and photography...I have more interests and hobbies, but these are my favorites.

I'm a student, a child of God, and my favorite time of year is fall and spring. I love the changing leaves, or the fresh blooms.

Dancing is not my strong-suit, but I like to sing, especially in the shower, and karaoke nights are always fun!

I like holiday weekends, being with friends, and I love my family.

Sometimes I watch sports, but it doesn't occupy my life; they're more on a whim, anymore. I'd rather go see a game in person, or be active doing something outside or going somewhere. Going to baseball games is something I enjoy on occasion, but I'm open to other sporting events, concerts, and the like.

I'm keen on meeting someone with similar interests, but I am always open to new interests and trying new things. I'm not the greatest at initiating first contact via message, but I seek someone to do things with, and get to know. I want to make sure that we are right for each other first, and I am a firm believer that communicating and honesty are key.

If you have a child or children, then I welcome them into my life, as well.

More specifically, I'm a full time student, entering my senior year of college. I also work a part time job.

Book genres...Sci-Fi, fiction, and mystery...I've read many books by Stephen King, and I also have been enjoying some of the older Sherlock Holmes books. My next read will be the Hunger Games series, proving I'm a little behind.

I love to watch movies on a rainy day. My favorites would be dramas, comedies, and the occasional "chick flick."

TV shows would include The Office, Call of the Wildman, and anything funny, really.

Food...Pizza, of course; I like rice, chicken, pork chops, Chinese, Cajun, the typical stuff I guess.

My pea coat in the winter, chocolate, coffee, good humor, friends and family, and a barbecue grill.

How many hoodies and pairs of sweatpants I own.

On a more serious note, I think about future ambitions, what I want to do when I finish college, where I want to live and I like planning trips for vacations.

I'm not always out with friends. Lately the typical Friday night has consisted of being at home and relaxing after working all week. In addition, I am still kind of settling in to my new apartment, so I devote a little time to that as well.
