I wrote this when I was in a strange mood one night---I was up really late and I could not sleep. I was in kind of a manic mood. I should change it. I love the English language, especially novels, but poetry often rushes into my mind. ( I like Robert Frost, Yeats, etc.) I love movies. visual. I have learned that I am fairly good with speaking Chinese. My best friend is from Taiwan. i grew up in Canada. I am self-taught for Chinese. My reading and writing for Chinese is not very good. I have to work on improving that. I lived in China for 2 years. I visited the Great Wall 4 times, the Forbidden City 2X, Tai Mountain 3 times, and so on. I have lived in Korea for 2 years. Young children are interesting Buddhas/teachers to me. They are so funny sometimes....I think that I was Asian in past lives.---maybe...........I enjoy historical places.....ancient temples, palaces, such as GyeongBokGoong.

I am teaching English, and waiting for a time of in-between-ness to evaporate, fall away from sticking to me, or get knocked away from me, in a powerful energy strike. Witches, please assist. He he he he. I belive in God, but as the philosopher said. The finite mind can not understand the infinite. ( I believe in the Goddess also).

I am rereading "The Solace of Open Spaces", by Gretel Ehrlich.
It is nature and autobiography. She is a well educated city gal and chose to live on a ranch in Wyoming. It is beautiful writing. She is a very cool lady.

I like reading about spiritual ideas, from all over the world, especially Taoist philosophy, and connecting to nature.......
Yukio Mishima's "The Confessions of a Mask", I just finished reading "Night" by Elie Wiesel, and "The Da Vinci Code" ---that was a fun read..................I like reading Charles Bukowski sometimes, he is funny, and so down to earth (but somewhat of a misogynist, I know)
The Pursuit of Happyness, many action movies (Jet Li),
comedy, romance,

Korean love story movie-Christmas in August, Akira Kurosawa movies, The Last Emperor, I love Zhang Yi Mou movies....
..........I liked "Dogma" that was clever.
I enjoyed "August Rush".....positive is good........YES MAN---funny, that man is crazy, you know , Jim Carey is Canadian, like me, but America gave him his deserved large audience ! ^^
