I am a musician and teacher, I love music & movies, and being active for fun as well as exercise. I enjoy the outdoors but haven't had much opportunity to go camping, mountain biking, etc. for some time. I have also been known to play cards and board games, but mostly I'm good with an interesting conversation. I am relatively busy with work and taking care of my 3 year old son, but I certainly have time to make some new friends.

Some other quick stats: I play piano and guitar, ride a motorcyle (street bike, not a crotch-rocket), I've run one marathon so far & plan to run another in 2010, I like to play pool with friends and listen to great music, I meet friends at an Irish bar to discuss religion & philosophy every so often, I'm a bit of a coffee and beer snob - love dark coffee and dark beer but will still drink the lighter stuff, I used to play in a few bands but have been busy with my son lately - now that he's a little older I plan to start playing out again soon, and I have two 100lb black labradors that don't quite realize just how big they are.

As for who I'm looking for? I suppose someone who is also fit, intelligent, interesting... but isn't that who we're all looking for? I don't want to sound too selective though, mostly I am looking to meet new people right now. I'd like to meet lots of people and see who's out there.

I teach private piano and guitar lessons, and am raising my "spirited" (aka crazy) son.

Using my hands, from what I've been told... I play a few instruments, I can juggle and do alright with a yo-yo, I can use a circular saw and hammer, I change my own oil in my car and motorcycle, and I haven't dropped my son when I throw him up into the air (yet).

Also, I've been noticing that I am really quite good at inserting ellipses...

My stunning good looks? My irrepressible charm? Perhaps my capacity for smart-ass remarks? Hmmm..

This is the short list:
Books - I'm currently reading Ulysses by James Joyce.
Movies - I'm not into horror, but I watch practically everything else, especially if it has an excellent soundtrack.
Music - I listen to everything. Classical, rock, punk, funk, jazz, etc. Some of my favorite rock bands of all time are the Beatles, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix - I tend toward the classic rock because that's what I listened to growing up. If you know who the Meters are, though, I'd love to talk to you.
Food - I love Mexican, Italian, Greek, Irish, grill-outs, good cheeses, and absolutely any permutation of potato.

My son, coffee, my motorcycle, my instruments, my computer, and friends/family.

How many different ways there are to live your life, and how many people out there that are doing just that.

Either out with friends for a beer, practicing a song, watching something from Netflix, or putzing around on the computer (like right now..).

Let's just say that even thought I'm a relatively normal guy, I am not a stranger to unusual circumstances. The optimist in me likes to say that it makes for very good stories.

You'd like to strike up a conversation with someone new.
