My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I left NYC about 5 years ago to switch careers. I do environmental law. I miss NY a lot and eventually may return (or maybe SF or Paris). I have a dog, so I spend a lot of time outside walking around with him.
I put mint chocolate chip ice cream in my coffee.
I listen to podcasts, love going to concerts (the smaller the better), love learning new things, would probably rather go to a friend's place for a dinner party than to a bar, like dancing, love the heat and don't really like air conditioning in the summer, like gardening, stay pretty active and try to stay in good shape, pretty liberal, not a vegetarian but eat very little meat...any thing else you want to know just ask!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
enjoying the city, trying to stay out of the cold, eating ice cream.
I try to get to a few shows a month. I want to go see all of the museums in philly.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making friends, coming up with ideas. having fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
probably my dog and that he's usually carrying something funny in his mouth.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books - anything by vonnegut, kavalier & clay, books about history, current events, robots. Reading Sylvia Plath right now.

movies - eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the skin I live in, grease, woody allen flicks, old movies, dumb & dumber, this is the end.
nothing with nick cage in it, or maybe travolta either, so face/off was torturous for me

tv - just watched black mirror, derek.

music - pretty much everything except hard-core head-banger stuff, don't hate country, but don't love it. Listening to The National a lot right now.
podcasts - radio lab, this american life, 99% invisible.

food - indian, sushi, mexican
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
music, being outside, warm weather, traveling, coffee, npr.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Designing a home.
places I've been or want to go. the future. wondering if robots will take over the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Cooking with friends, going out to fun places till late, or staying in watching a movie/reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I want to sail to South America, like tomorrow.
