My Self-Summary
I have a son who lives with me 50% of the time. I'm on good terms with his mother. I'm on good terms with my recent ex, and (I think) all my exes. (Is that a word? Exes? You can say it, but writing it looks stupid.) Friendship, respect and trust are very important to me.
I'm interested in imaginative, open-minded, intelligent, sensual exploratory people. I'm perverse, intellectually and sexually. I'm very safety-conscious (at least sexually; I should be more safety-conscious emotionally). I'm sometimes obsessive about my work/vocation.

What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
verbose talker,
love to argue,
decent cook,
sensual lover,
seem to be able to make people laugh, singularly and in groups
The first things people usually notice about me
Have no idea.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Still, I like reading them, so:
a) The Regeneration Trilogy by Pat Barker; War and Peace by Tolstoy; lots of stuff by Simenon, LeCarre, Vonnegut, Doris Lessing, Samuel R. Delaney
b) The Seventh Seal, The Seven Samurai, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Indigènes
c) Portishead, Blind Boys of Alabama, Bonnie Raitt, Dave Brubeck, this mortal coil, Tom Waits, Peter Gabriel, Garbage, (I don't know, a gabillion things)
d) as long as it isn't fast-food (although I make exceptions: Chinese noodle-houses, that cheap Indian place in Tinseltown that makes very sweet Chai).
The six things I could never do without
My son,
some way of writing,
good food,
good tea,
something to read,
sensual contact
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics,
Human Stupidity (sorry, was that redundant?),
Human behaviour
