The first thing I ever remember wanting to be when I grew up was "An Academy Award Winning Disney Composer." It was an insanely specific dream for an elementary school kid. I give my younger self props - for in the age of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin where else would one work to have the best change to get an Oscar? It made perfect sense to me.

While I ended up not becoming a Composer, what I did know from a very early age was that I wanted to be really good at my job and have a reason to wear pretty dresses. I can say 20+ years later both those things still ring true.

Freelancing in the Film Industry as an Art Director and Art Coordinator for Features and Commercials. Basically working hard then relaxing hard. I love it.

Hopefully catching up with some of my amazing friends + their equally awesome other halves. Or I could be working.

My freelance schedule does not understand the concept of "Friday" or "Weekend," but then again often if doesn't understand "Monday" either --- so it has it's pluses and minuses.

*Well just between you and me, my dyslexic brain really does not like the words right and left. But all my good friends know exactly what I mean when I say "this way" (right) and "that way" (left)!
