My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"It's going to be legen-wait for it-"

I'm a 24 year old recent graduate from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Economics who is looking to get the ball rolling with the rest of my life. I was born in Washington, DC but grew up in Racine, WI. My dream job is to be a Congressman, but, realistically, I'm moving towards being a buyer for some sort of fashion company. I love learning new things and finding out how things work.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working as an expediter for a company that sells replacement parts for large scale kitchen equipment in Mount Prospect, IL. I make sure everything is running efficiently and, to quote my manager, "Ideally, no one would know we're here because we solve the problems before it comes to their attention." I've been there since April 2014.

Cooking and food is a big passion of mine that I just recently discovered. I love trying new recipes, trying new foods, and perfecting old dishes. Some recent successes have been smoked salmon and dill quiche, spinach, raisin, and macadamia nut salad, and Martha Stewart's macaroni and cheese.

I love going to restaurants when I have the disposable income to do so. I've eaten at a two Michelin star restaurant and 6-7 Bib Gourmand restaurants. I've had a Cronut, a foie gras sausage, and a pho made out of cuttlefish noodles. I'm always on the hunt to find both the world's best reuben sandwich and the world's best pancakes. So far the best reuben is from The Reef in Racine, WI and the best pancakes are from either DuPar's in Las Vegas or Lula Cafe in Chicago.

Other than work and cooking/food, I like to watch reality shows and make fun of them (The Bachelor) or get caught up in them (Catfish: The TV Show) or both (Masterchef Junior). I love music and finding out new bands and musicians to listen to. I have seen Pat McCurdy in concert more than anyone else and I'm completely content with that fact.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh, improv, cooking, looking at pictures of food I will probably never make, and making people feel comfortable.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, my smile, and/or my beard
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I was never really a reader but I'm getting better. I like any Christopher Moore novel, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series, and Racine native Chad Harbach's "The Art of Fielding."

Movies: I like movies that make you ask, "What the hell did I just watch?" Movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Vantage Point, Shutter Island, and Inception. I will watch anything that Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, or Christopher Nolan does.

TV: My favorite comedy is How I Met Your Mother, my favorite drama is Friday Night Lights, and my favorite reality show is Catfish: The TV Show. Some other noteable TV shows I like include Girls, How Not to Live Your Life, Pushing Daisies, Dexter, Breaking Bad, The IT Crowd, Aliens in America, and Friends.

Music: I am a huge audiophile. I loves me some music. I love The Beatles, Arcade Fire, Eric Clapton, Brian Setzer, George Thorogood, Led Zeppelin, The Baseballs, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Rob Thomas/Matchbox 20, Lyle Lovett, Less Than Jake, LCD Soundsystem, anything Jack White is involved in, The Wombats, The Hold Steady, The Flaming Lips, and so much more. I will listen to just about anything at least once. I love going to concerts as well. I actually worked at Alpine Valley as a summer job once. I love bands who are good live.

Food: I'll try anything once. The first time I had meat, I was 11 years old because my parents were (and still are) vegetarians.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My signed Ken Griffey Jr. baseball
Craig Ferguson's snake cup
My CVS ExtraCare card
The 2002 MLB All-Star Game
Koss PortaPro headphones
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why people do what they do, why is this or that movie not available on Netflix, why Wayne Coyne is so spectacular, how people haven't heard of Wayne Coyne and other amazing musicians, what l am going to do with my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either on Reddit reading some funny or interesting post, or cooking something delicious, or both. I do occasionally like to go out and drink with friends but not that often.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I did a YouTube show pretty much every week from my 19th birthday to my 20th birthday reviewing music.

You like, or can at least stand, the Packers.

You have the same varied taste in music that I do and enjoy live music.

You like to explore the city as much as you can.

I can't believe I have to say this, but please, for the love of all that is good, don't message me with just "Hi" or "Hey" or "Sup."
