I’m looking from someone who's odd and/or silly. I really have a thing for geeky girls, hippie types or even just strange ones. A likeminded partner in crime would be great. But I have had wonderful experiences with "normal" girls too, so don't be shy. :)

I like playing video games from time to time.

I love learning new things and discovering interesting facts. For example, I'm currently learning to pick locks. There are other skills I'd love to learn, but I'll save that for conversation.

I’m not a big partier or social butterfly. I prefer to hang out and have fun with a couple of good friends. Half of my best friends are punkers and half are guys from the IT department.

I have a sick sense of humor sometimes. I’m a fan of things like Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Animation Festival and Happy Tree Friends.

I enjoy traveling and seeing new places. I love road trips and driving down the highway at night.

I really like cooking.

I find history, economics and politics interesting. Not because I'm a blowhard or anything like that. Ask if you want to know why.

I’m open to the idea of there being some grand force out there in the universe, but I’m not religious...at all.

I’m messy, disorganized, and I like it that way. I love dreams and find them fascinating.

Ann Arbor is one of my favorite towns and I visit often.

I don’t like sports, I don’t care about sneakers or rims, I don’t watch rap videos and I don’t wear chains. If you’re looking for a “thug”, I'm not the one you're looking for. :)

Attending art school, refining my art skills, spending time with friends, wandering around aimlessly, and learning new things.

Books: I like reading but hardly ever make the time for it. There are far more "books I'd like to read" than "favorites I've already read". If you can suggest a good book to me, go for it. :)

It's poetry, but I dig Charles Bukowski. There's something appealing about poems that can conclude with giant cockroaches gangbanging a hooker in a cheap motel.

Movies: Shaun of the Dead, spaghetti westerns/Eastwood flicks, Sin City, Snatch, Clerks, Fido, Aliens, The Dark Knight, Spirited Away, Ninja Scroll, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Shawshank Redemption, V For Vendetta, Leon the Professional, Pan's Labyrinth, The Road Warrior, Robocop, Total Recall, Smokin' Aces, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I Heart Huckabees, Super Troopers, Pulp Fiction, Grindhouse, MST3K flicks, Nightmare on Elm Street, and all manner of zombie movies.

TV: South Park, Adult Swim, Invader Zim, Heroes, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica, the old Batman animated series from the 90's.

Music: Movie and video game scores, rock, techno, metal, some classical and occasionally rap. I listen to practically anything except R&B and country.

Food: Hamburgers with strange toppings, seafood, Chinese, sushi, steak, Jimmy John's, apples, strawberries, carrot cake, and I have a soft spot for chocolate ice cream.

Pencils.

Sunlight.

Being able to create things.

Satisfying random curiosities and strange impulses.

Cooking.

Music.

I also wonder a lot about life and the universe. Maybe we're actually inside a giant fishbowl. Maybe this is all a dream.

...you dislike rules and daydream of causing public mischief for sport or amusing yourself in unconventional ways, but lament not being able to find anyone to enjoy such activities with. Finding people who would enjoy fighting with cardboard tubes or silly stringing strangers is hard.
