My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a marathoner!!! I am looking to becoming an Ironman in two or three years.

I am adventurous, others call me crazy. I will try anything at least once. I may not like it, but at least I would know for sure. I read books... (although not as much as I like to). I don't own a Kindle or an IPad, I tried sky dive before (best experience in the world), I swam in the red sea, watched sun rise on Mt. Sinai and sunset over the Great pyramid. If Iraq wasn't a war zone? I would be there to see what the oldest civilization have left us. I've been to 12 countries so far. I try, often fail to go to a different country every year on average, due to financial and time constraint. Yeah... work gets in the way of everything.

When I am not working and saving money for my next trip, I practice Aikido and Katori, I workout, I don't really like it, but I have to stay fit for my next trip.

politically, I don't know what I am. I think we call it independent, which means I agree with the right on some issues, and I agree with the left on some issues. I think the problem with current political party is, the left wants its followers to disagree with everything on the right and the right wants its followers to disagree with everything on the left (The my way or the highway problem), and that is screwing everyone.

Why am I here?? Mostly to meet new friends, between working and practice martial arts and sleep (I don't function well with a lot of sleep, who knew!!), I really don't have a whole lot of time meet new people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Outside of working?
I read, workout, practice Martial Arts (Aikido and Katori). I travel, I try, often fail because of financial reasons, to get to average one different country per year.

I am a little obsessed about TED conference webcast right now. I wish the world leaders are listen to these people.

Also I am obsessed about chess. When other surf the web during lunch hour, I play chess. I think I will get fired one day because of that even though I think I waste less time on chess than some people surfing the web....
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am really good at not really good at anything. I like to do too many things to be master at one particular subject.

I am fairly good at cooking, mostly Chinese food. I follow the recipe book the first time usually, but often make my own addition/subtractions later.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am Asian, Chinese to be Specific.
Besides that, I know a lot of things about a lot of random subjects.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I won't bother to translate all the Chinese book I read. English books, Jane Eyre, Rebecca (how is Rebecca a misspelled word), Sherlock Holmes, Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy (the entire "Trilogy"), and many non-fictions. (I've recently read "waste" you won't believe how much food we (people in the developed word) are wasting every day).

Music: pretty much anything I am in the mood for.

Movies: By far God father I and II are my favorite movies. Office Space (I have gained a whole new level of appreciation about this movie after I started working in a cubical), Notebook, a timetraveler's wife (Yes, I watch chick flick sometimes)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My pants... I need my pants...
Friends... I need my friends to play poker with.
Food... I really like to eat.
NPR... What can I say... The only good thing on radio
My glasses... If you are nearsighted, you know what I am talking about.
Travel... We are not meant to stay in one place...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What is the meaning of life for regular people? I mean 1000 years from now, people will still remember Einstein, but who will remember us? Are we going to leave our footprint in history? How are we going to do that? What kind of footprints are they going to be?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing Poker with friends, trying to get some sleep for Saturday's Katori practice. (if you don't know what Katori is..... google it, and if you are interested, contact me)
