I'm naturally inquisitive. I read a lot about general news, politics, technology and am always curious about what's going on in the world and always want to blather on about it.

Most of my life revolves around experiencing something new. Learning something, seeing new places, listening to new sounds, tasting new foods.

I'm a pretty open minded person.

I mostly have a dry sense of humor which causes some problems when people have no idea I'm joking, but the people closest to me (usually) know. I have the tendency to be sarcastic although I try to stop myself before I become a condescending asshole.

Despite anything else I'm doing with my life, music has long been my main passion and I spend a lot of time listening to it. At work, relaxing, studying...I'm usually trying to find the next great album.

Like what seems to be most (or at least a lot) of engineers, I'm into photography.

I'm not at a fanatic level but I do enjoy hockey and love going to games at both Staples and Honda centers.

I'm an electrical engineer working for an audio/video equipment company, designing hardware. I ended up deciding to get my Master's, so I'm working on that now at CSUF which takes up quite a bit of my time.

The spectrum of what I listen to is pretty wide, but I'll always be a metalhead. Some of my favorite bands/artists include Emperor, Opeth, Pink Floyd, Gojira, Portishead, The Mars Volta, Tool, Mastodon, Aphex Twin, Nirvana, and The Beatles. I'm currently really into the new Major Lazer and still trying to decide if I like The Knife's new album.

I listen to NPR often, and I love Radiolab

My favorite current shows are Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dexter, and due to my soft spot for zombies despite how overused it's getting nowadays, The Walking Dead. Some older shows: Arrested Development, MST3K, Spaced, The Office (BBC).

I watch drama and horror movies the most. My favorite directors include Stanley Kubrick and Paul Thomas Anderson. Some of my favorite movies are Magnolia, The Departed, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Big Lebowski, 2001 A Space Odyssey.

You're open minded about trying new things. Sounds pretty generic but as long as you're not put off by things that are foreign to you, we would get along. Some kind of passion for any type of art, and at least some interest in current events, would also be big pluses.
