I just moved to Arlington after graduating college so I could work in the ever exciting town of Ashburn, VA. I studied political science and spent most of my college career working for LGBT and women's rights non-profits. I have awesome housemates that I like to cook, play sports, and have late night philosophical debates with. I spend most of my free time in DC or Baltimore at concert venues or dive bars.

- Cooking microwave meals from Trader Joe's
- Buying vinyls even though I no longer have a record player (trying to get one ASAP)
-Buying large amounts of used books and reading 2 of them
- Convincing drunk friends to take the metro rather than a cab
- Navigating said drunk friends safely home
- Singing and dancing in my car on 66 while my supervisor pulls up next to me (true story)
- Using parentheses

Books: To Kill a Mockingbird, Brave New World, The Bell Jar, 1984, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Ariel (Sylvia Plath poetry collection), Lolita, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, On the Road, Candide, and any good ol dystopian novel.

Movies: Donnie Darko, I Heart Huckabees, Beginners, Submarine, Best in Show.

Shows: Walking Dead, New Girl, Parks and Recreation, Community. Sometimes I need some trash TV in my life...you better redneckonize.

Music: Music is really big for me. I listen to a lot of older music like Elvis Costello, Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, any Motown artist, Etta James, and The Turtles. I'm in the market for a record player if you know where I can get one around here!

I also like Talking Heads, The Black Keys, Dawes, Delta Spirit, Dr. Dog, Father John Misty, Fiona Apple, Fleet Foxes, Ray LaMontagne, Velvet Underground, Ryan Adams, Smashing Pumpkins, The Head and The Heart, The Strokes, Born Ruffians, The DoDos, and a whole lot more.

I could talk about music for days and am always looking for new artists or concerts so if you know of someone you think I'd like throw em my way.

Food: I like anything spicy. I grew up eating a lot of foreign food and am always open to trying to dishes. My favorites are Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Lebanese, and Japanese.

Everyone can assume I love my friends and family so let's just skip those and try something new.

At a bar or concert with my friends. I spend the occasional night in but I prefer to be out and about. I'm usually in the U St area of DC and in Baltimore from time to time.

I sleep talk and sleep walk everyone once in a while. I once tried to sharpen pencils in my sleep in college.
