My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am looking for what appears to be a mythical creature in the gay community, a very elusive thing called a Unicorn....oh wait wrong story. I am looking for a date. Much like the fabled gay red head I am convinced that such a thing exists. As a result I decided to not once again lower my standards (I mean really how much lower can you go than breathing). I am going to hold my head high and summon my inner Oscar Wilde, from which the following quote came to mind, "although we may be in the gutter we are looking at the stars". What does this have to do with my profile? What I am looking for, unicorns, dates and red heads? Your guess is as good as mine. Besides how often can you use a great quote with the word gutter in it?

I figured if I needed to write something it might as well be fun, especially since judging from some responses, people don't even take the time to read it. If this is you, well it wouldn't be as you just read that sentence. To all those who don't Shame on you!

I am trying to find someone to share a life with, not filling out a scantron, or ordering dinner in a restaurant. This is something that our community needs to think about when writing their profile. I am much more open minded than most and do not believe you know who your match is until you meet them. I could tell you what my brain says my type is, but then I would also need to disclose that I have never even once dated that ideal person. So I don't beleive in types.

I am not looking or a carbon copy of me. I am looking for someone to share interests with, so that we can learn from each other share responsibilities, joys and sorrows and grow old together. A copy of yourself would be awfully boring to date as what would you bring to the relationship? The only true requirement I have is that you need to want to explore the world together (literally you better like to pack a bag as there are places I want to see)!

I Prefer people that are intelligent (doesn't mean college degrees) it means I better not catch you watching Honey Boo Boo... I mean really WTF? Have we surpassed our societies pinnacle? Are we on the downhill side of the mountain? Please tell me there is more to life than Keeping up with the Kardashian's (I would rather watch a bowl of Jello-o coagulate).

Contact me for a free cup of coffee although you will have to attend a brief 60 minute presentation to collect.

Kylie Minogue and Keane are probably my two favorite artists for music. But digging One Direction.

I am getting a little bored with all the artists that show up have a single hit then fall off the planet. They are not even around long enough to bother to learn their names.

When it comes to movies I would probably say that Now Voyager, Hairspray (a'La John Waters), Last Holiday, Moulin Rouge (Strictly Ballroom being a close second), I will wait until I know you better to really admit the guilty pleasure movies!

My favorite food, Pizza for breakfast (cold of course), Mexican nothing beats a good tamale, Sushi seared tuna, spicy tuna rolls and Unagi are all favorites.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Humor (especially Sarcasm, but in a fun way)
Friends and family (technically two, but couldn't they be both?)
The internet (Otherwise how would anyone get porn? Isn't that the reason Al Gore invented the internet?)
Good food - This includes wine (and gin)
A roof over my head - I don't want to live in a box by the river
Love - I know you are out there somewhere
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I would like to know who it was that looked at a sea urchin, and thought, YUMMY... I should eat this thing with spikes all over it that can break off into my hand and cause great pain. I mean even if you were starving isn't there other things, and less troublesome to snack on?

I used to think lot about December 21, 2012 and wondered if it would lead to.... oh look look squirrel. What was it I was thinking about?
