When I travel to a new city I love just walking around aimlessly, taking it all in, and being surprised by what I find. I lived in Berlin a few years ago and spent many happy days strolling the streets.
I have a black Telecaster I bought a few years ago from someone who treated it very badly. I've done a lot of work on it: replaced all the electronics and hardware, touched up some gouges, worked on the neck, hugged it, etc. Now I love it more than the much fancier guitars I have. There's nothing truly special about it except the work I put into it. I think that might say something about me.
I am baffled by people's grammar and spelling skill requirements in their potential mates. If I wrote that I require someone to know the quadratic equation and the exact dates of the Crimean War I'd be laughed out of court. I know this isn't a court.. but you know what I mean.
Emotional intelligence is far more important to me than other forms of intelligence. I tend to connect to people through humor and intimate conversation. Empathy and humor are essential.
