My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Sorry, I'm happily taken! If I happen to click on your profile I might be checking you out for a friend. All the best on here!

I'm an introvert with extrovert tendencies. Epic nights out are my forte, but I need nights in and time to myself to recharge. Learning about the world through the experiences of others is a favorite past time of mine.

At first glance, I'm feminine, kind, and gentle-natured. Just under the surface though, I love a little grit in life, don't mind using elbow grease to get things done, enjoy a good dive bar, open my own pickle jars (but always appreciate help offered anyway), get a surprising amount done in a pencil skirt and heels, change tires, and throw a solid spiral. I'm warm, usually very open, and am in my element when hosting dinner parties, cocktail hour, at a speakeasy, jazz concert, or chatting one-on-one with a close friend.

Witty repartee makes me weak in my knees as do men who are kind to their mothers, children, the elderly, and puppies (predictable I know). I love vintage/used books but was forced into e-readerdom out of pity for my diligent bookshelves. Even so, I dream about the day I'll house my own physical library.

After 10 years of living in Massachusetts I'm finally back in MD. I miss Cambridge/Boston terribly but can't wait to unfold Baltimore and see what it has to offer...I'd love a partner-in-crime to do it with.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Sociology was what I studied for my first undergraduate degree and I just completed my second bachelors in nursing.

Writing/recording songs in the bathroom... really...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

- Earnestness & introspection.
- Enjoying occasional recklessness.
- Impromptu dinner & cocktail parties.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Single Malt.
Black. Pencil. Skirts.
Dark roast, french press.
Late nights in good company.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Human nature and its motivating forces.
My cat's obsession with testing gravity.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Slipping into speakeasies, staying in for a movie, unfolding dog-eared pages of old books, making dinner with friends, befriending strangers, climbing rusty ladders, dodging bullets, shooting rockets off of rooftops, seeking novel indulgences, chatting with cabbies, driving far, breathing deeply, wanderlust dreaming...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have an unforgivably terrible sense of direction. I kill bugs with vacuum cleaners to keep a safe distance. My favorite crayon color has been Cerulean since I was 5. I won't ever climb Machu Picchu (but will whole-heartedly applaud your efforts to). I don't consider myself "outdoorsy" (but will gladly support your outings, pack you sandwiches, anti-bacterial hand gel, and a blow-torch or something).

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You've raised an eyebrow while reading this, you eat lucky charms for the marshmallows, you look damn good in a peacoat and smell like a dream boat. You're style & substance, grounded, sharp, excited about learning, interested in growing, a closet nerd, soul searcher, rule-breaker, occasional trouble-maker, easily inspired, genuine, honest, open.

You want to, you're still here, you have a story to tell, you'll put the toilet seat down (I fell in once), you have a favorite spot in Baltimore you'd like to share.

You won't feel emasculated if I order scotch, won't be embarrassed if I order a highlife, would consider joining me for both.

You smile big, laugh hard, and care deeply about the people around you.
