My names Bill and I've lived in the Cincinnati area for a little over a year now. Still getting the lay of the land to some extent. I am normally a pretty laid back kind of person who typically prefers having having a few friends over to big parties. Even when it comes to going out, I do better at a more quiet bar or pub with a good group of friends over going clubbing.

Up to this point in my life things have gone pretty much according to plan. There have been some hiccups along the way but that's always to be expected. I am an engineer and as soon as you meet me you will realize who good of a fit that is. Deep down I'm a problem solver and that's what I get to do almost everyday is solve new problems. I have a great job and just bought a house. The only thing really missing from my life right now is someone to share it with. I'm looking for a serious relationship. Not necessarily looking for a wedding in the near future but it's something to be looking for on down the road.

I recently bought a house so obviously my project list has just greatly expanded but I don't mind. There's something really great about being able find things that once completed grant a sense of accomplishment. Its a pretty big house and I'm hoping to fill it up with a family someday.

On the career side of things, I am an engineer with GE. I started back in June of 2008 and really have enjoyed it up to this point. I work with really great people and the work remains challenging which is very important to me. There have been some tough times but hopefully I will be able to weather the storm and make a long career there.

I consider myself a jack of all trades. I'm don't consider myself an expert in anything but I'm good at many things. I could be framing up a new room one minute and writing computer code the next. My interests are varied and so are the things I'm good at. If I had to pick a couple things I would top the list with martial arts and with reading people. I teach martial arts at a local YMCA. As far as reading people I can normally tell within a matter of minutes how things will work out. I've developed a good gut feeling when it comes to people and its never really let me down.

I would say its normally my intelligence. I'm not the most out-going of people but I am well read and can discuss a broad range of topics. I also love to learn new things from other people as well. Everyone has their own life experiences and expertise and its always good to engage them and learn about those things.

It would take pages to list them all but i'll give the abridged version. I am a huge book worm. I am always actively reading something. I moved more boxes of books than anything else:P I read a lot of suspense/spy novels but I've started reading more fantasy lately. Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and His Dark Materials and some all time favorites.

When it comes to movies well done action and intelligently done comedies are typically my choices. The occasional romantic comedy is fine given the right company.;)

I listen to lots of different types of music although day to day its normally various types of rock. In addition to that I enjoy celtic, classical and even some occasional blue grass.

Life in general and all of its twists and turns. Reflecting on past decisions, both good and bad but in the end realizing that its all those decisions that have made me who I am today.
