My self-summary
Hæ hæ! Gaman að sjá ykkur. Hvað segirðu gott?

Karate chopping, tattooed, vegetarian and a little bit clumsy. I like to learn alot of stuff about alot of things- knowledge is AWESOME (and you'll find out more about my passion for this below.)
What I’m doing with my life
As well as working a 'regular' job at the moment I'm studying biology, philosophy and nutrition with the eventual goal of training to be a registered dietitian. Discovering new things, gaining more knowledge about the world and meeting new people are all experiences I crave regularly- most recently it's been studying how to speak Icelandic (after falling in love with the country on a visit last Summer.) Most things alternative/subversive/unconventional will usually manage to peak my interest. Love reading- mainly philosopy/psychology/food based stuff. Oh, and I design shoes and draw things too. And occasionally take on silly (yet amazing) physical challenges like 100km treks for charity.
I’m really good at
-Picking things up off of shelves that most mere mortals can't otherwise seem to reach.
-Hearing a song and figuring out how to play the music a few seconds later.
-Nutrition. And on a similiar note- cooking vegetarian treats.
The first things people usually notice about me
"You really are so bloody liberal"- my philosophy teacher, circa 3 weeks ago.

"You're super bloody tall"- everyone, all the time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
In terms of books/authors...'Evasion' is probably my favourite book of all time. I'd count Alan Watts/Richard Dawkins/Peter Singer/Mike Dolce/Bertrand Russell/Dave Asprey and Tim Ferriss among my favourite authors also.

'Baraka' was the last film (even though some would argue it's not strictly a film) which really caught my attention. However, I do also have a bit of a penchant for tacky old school horror movies...those films that are just so utterly terrible that they somehow become irresistibly good again.

Tv- Peep Show, American Horror Story, Parks and Rec, Workaholics, Spaced, Brass Eye, Modern Family, The Office (US), Friday Night Dinner, etc.

Music- Have Heart, Jehst, Between The Buried And Me, Saetia, Medeski Martin & Wood, Integrity, Gorgoroth, Modeselektor, Laurent Garnier, Russian Circles, Magrudergrind, Phuturistix, The Haarp Machine, Glass Cloud, Jackson & His Computer Band, Mac Lethal, Hour Of Penance, Isis, Pg.99, Kaki King, Iron Chic, Jeff Mills, Marduk, Braintax, Behemoth and the list goes on...
The six things I could never do without
-Guitar/instrument of some kind.
-My music collection.
-Whatever book I currently happen to be reading.
-The pocket full of change that I carry around nonsensically.
-Something to draw on/with.

I'll think of one more...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Going to Iceland this Summer. I am SUPER excited. (Edit: I went. It was mind blowing.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Making music/art, sharing unintelligible in jokes with friends out and about somewhere lively, or watching Peep Show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't own an iPhone. I used Twitter once, for a week, but got bored. I'm regularly told that both of these things make me some sort of social leper.
You should message me if
-You think we share some things in common and fancy a date/coffee/meet up sometime.

-You're up for going to some gigs- I have quite different musical tastes to everyone else I hang out with.

-We can discuss mid 90's hip hop, late 90's hardcore and/or Scandinavian metal at length. Bonus points for history/documentary discussion too.

-You know anything about Göbekli Tepe and can tell me more about it.
