I love books. I know almost everyone is reading, or re-reading, or
claiming to be re-reading the Hobbit. I just finished it, and I
liked it for the most part. It got a bit pedantic at times. I'm
hoping that if and when I start the Lord of the Rings, it will be
dirty and gritty.
I like random fact books. My favorite is Why Do Men Have
Nipples?
Others include:
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Don't Panic)
The Alchemist
I read a lot of plays. Love me some Shakespeare and also modern
plays.
Favorite movies include:
Star Wars IV, V, VI... If you like the prequels, don't tell me off
the bat, bitte.
Kevin Smith films. Not all of them.. he does make bad movies.
Good Will Hunting may be my number one favorite movie. I can also
love pretty much anything with Kevin Spacey or Al Pacino in it.
(That does not include the Adam Sandler film, Jack and Jill)
HUGE Muppets fan. Since I was a kid. Kind of have an obsession with
the Swedish Chef.
I netflix watch everything. Breaking Bad, Dexter, Heroes all high
quality shows.
I do confess, I watched 88 episodes of Pawn Stars consecutively.
Not terribly proud of that.
I like Dr. Who. Not a big fan of the Matt Smith era, but it
works.
I love music. I love all kinds. I can't name favorite artists, but
I can name favorite albums. I like many, many different artists,
but typically I only like one or two albums.
For example: I can say that I like Nas and The Black Eyed Peas,
which to me means that I like Illmatic and Elephunk. Does not mean
I like The E.N.D. or any other Nas album ever made.
I would break down my albums list, but I always fear sounding
hipstery or pretentious. So just know I probably like the music you
do like, or can at least appreciate and talk about it. The only
music that is a turn off is Christian Rock. I just don't get it.
That and Nickelback.
I love all kinds of food, but I love my own food the most.
