I am foolish, unpunctual, and vague.

My Self-Summary

Hello there!

My names Michael and I live in Edinburgh in Scotland. I'm a pleasant chap I like to think. I'm probably too nice though.

What I’m doing with my life

Bluntly put: Very little.

I'm trying to figure out some sort of purpose. If I wasn't wary of appearing a tool I might even say 'trying to find myself' but I am wary of appearing a tool, so I won't. So far, finding myself involves lots of sitting around and eating crisps.

I work in a tourist shop selling kilts, tartan, shortbread and assorted other items of vaguely Scottish related tat. It's a terrible job. Really terrible. I'm currently looking for something else. Though I'm not sure what.

I'm in a band. We're quite good. Not enough other people seem to think we're good.

I also like to dabble with a bit of drawing and writing, one day I hope to combine these two incredibly disparate past times into some sort of crazy amalgam which I'm considering calling a 'comic'.

I’m really good at

To be honest I'm fairly amateurish at everything I do.

Having said that, I might be amateurish, but I do like to try my hand at a lot of things. I hope one day to be good at one of them at the very least. When that happens, and if my profile is still here, I might feel the need to put it in here.

Or maybe I'm just really good at being self deprecating.

The first things people usually notice about me

Possibly how supercool and awesome I am. Although maybe not as that's not really immediately apparent.

More likely it's my terrible hair and the slightly hunted look I have about the eyes.

Recently I have grown a terrible beard. Depending on the level o flight it can look like I simply have a dirty face. I refuse to shave it though as I imagine one day it'll be big and bushy and fearsome. Like a pirate.

All the best pirates have beards.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I will list these at a later date more exhaustively possibly. Quick List:

Book- Catch-22 by Joseph Heller Film- Indiana Jones and The Raiders of The Lost Ark Music- Favourite bands are Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian, The Divine Comedy, Super Furry Animals, The Postal Service Foods- Cake?

The six things I could never do without

Six? Uh... music, good books, good friends, good films, sitting and sleeping.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Very dull things. Sometimes things that are slightly more interesting.

The things I spend MOST time thinking about, I also spend lots of time worrying about and then an equal amount of time complaining about.

On a typical Friday night I am

Err.... possibly in watching telly, although it's fairly poor isn't it? I don't like going out on Fridays. It's too busy and you can never get served or get a seat and you always get people bumping into you and... I'm not against going out on Fridays mind you.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I still read comics and watch cartoons and I'm 26. Yes.

You should message me if

You don't mind carrying the conversation. SMILEY FACE
