Good food, good music, good reads, good travel, an amazing day at the beach (or maybe that is just me...). An ideal day for me is scooting around in Goa, going to the market, picking a favorite beach, then watching the sunset over the Arabian Sea with a cocktail from a cliffside bar. If that sounds good to you, we'll probably get along alright.

I've done a good bit of travel, though I fear that it has ruined me because I am always dreaming about how I can finagle my next extended travel trip. There are so many places to go in this world, but I find myself always wanting to go back to India or Thailand.

Sometimes a Great Notion by Ken Kesey. Read it, thank me later. One of the best, most beautiful books ever written. I didn't want it to end and the prose is just brilliant. That man is kind of a genius. The Poisonwood Bible (and most things by Barbara Kingsolver), A Fine Balance, The Alchemist, The House of the Spirits, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Me Talk Pretty One Day.

I love spicy, yummy, interesting food. Though I once said "the spicier the better" and my green curry came back red. It was a mistake.
