I am into permaculture, urban farming, peak oil and community building. I work in computers, but I don't love it anymore. I moved to Portland about a year and half ago from Austin, Texas because I needed a change and I wanted a cooler, more sustainable climate. I love it here!
I don't drink or do drugs and because of that i don't go to bars too much. That is a past life. I still like live music but why do all of the good bands play on Tuesday or Wednesday nights here? I guess I am spoiled from living in the LIVE MUSIC CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!
I love hiking in all of the glorious places the Pacific NW has to offer.

Hmmm I am trying to figure out what I want to do with my life other than what I am doing with my life, but I like some of the things I am doing so those can stay.

Dune was the best book I read over the summer. It may sound silly but I really liked the Time Traveler's Wife because I could relate to all the pop-culture references from the early 90s.
I have a lot of books, movies, music and food that I love. I just rewatched Pulp Fiction, which is a classic in my opinion. I love City of Lost Children and Delicatessen because I think the cinematography is beautiful and the stories are bizarre. I like a lot movies that don't seem like a big hollywood movies. Is it just me or were there tons of great indie and foreign movies made in the 90s?
I still like the good old 80s music and 90s indie. I also like electronica, latin beats and much more. The best show I have ever been to was Dead Can Dance and the most exciting was Bjork. I used to go to lots of little punk shows but I don't really do that so much now.
My favorite foods are vegetarian and Indian.
