My self-summary
I was raised on a healthy dose of Bill Nye the Science Guy, NPR, and Legos, and it definitely shows. In a word, I guess you could say I'm geeky. But not in a light-deprived world of warcraft way, more like I spend a bit too much time obsessing over what part of my bike to upgrade or trying to track down craft beers I haven't had. But don't get me wrong, I still find time for my PBR and joyrides. Going bowling, playing scrabble, and a night on the town all sound like a fantastic time to me. I love live music, and occasionally have been spotted dancing like Christian Bale in American Psycho.

Brunch is my favorite meal of the day, and I think that the invention of the bloody mary is one of the greatest culinary achievements.

I'm currently training for a half-marathon, whoop whoop.

My perky demeanor. Seriously, I'm super extroverted and laugh a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As far as books go, I am a huge sci-fi geek and love anything by Isaac Asimov or Robert A. Heinlein. Tolkien-esque fantasy is also great, and Terry Prachett is always good for a laugh. Kurt Vonnegut a million times.

I love watching marathon seshes of Breaking Bad, The Wire, and other such high-budget TV dramas, but I have a special place in my heart for shows like Archer and Adventure Time. Word.

Wes Anderson is awesome. So is Woody Allan. I tend to like movies with fast cars and explosions, but I've also seen that movie with that guy who plays chess against death. I love anything narrated by Sir David Attenborough.

Finding new music and researching obscure new genres on wikipedia is one of my favorite pastimes. The artists I listen to changes on a weekly basis, but I always go back to stuff like Wu Tang (and individual side projects), Joy Division, The Clash, The Talking Heads, Dylan, The Misfits, Motorhead, and The Smiths. I also like weird world music, like French harpists and blues musicians from Mali.
