Ok here goes, I have left this for far too long and I will make the attempt today to summarize myself. Sometimes I think it is easier to say what I am not. I am not one of those cheery perky I love life people, I have always been a little more withdrawn and negative but someone has to be that way. I dont always like where I am at in life but I basically like who I am. Enjoy the simple things in life. The ocean, a river, the mountains, mother nature has provided us with so much to wonder at. I have been divorced for about 10 years now and I like my time alone. I need my time alone but I do get lonely and would love to find someone I could enjoy some of what life has to offer. With my wicked pissah mood swings it wont be easy but what the hell we all need a little companionship.

music--flogging molly, smiths, morrisssey, the clash, lorenna mckennitt, elvis costello, roxie music, depeche mode, cake, violent femmes, the mavericks, madness, the specials and the list just goes on and on. A friend at work has been sharing music with me so I now add bedouin soundclash to my list. Music helps me survive.

I have to modify this question in order to answer it....my brain looks at it and of course the only things I could never live without are the obvious. So it has now become The six things I would never want to live without.......
my girls--even grown up they bring a smile to my face
my friends--I am finally learning the importance of friends
hugs--I dont think I need to say how important they are
my music--what would I do without it specially at work
a nice hot relaxing bath--oh yea now we are talking
and finally garlic

usually watching what Netflix has sent me
starting the first season of boston legal, reaper, kingdom hospital, waiting for the next season of dexter, finally going to see season 6 of wire in the blood and having never seen the sopranos that is in my queue also along with a few movies
