My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born in southern MA, moved to RI, and now work in Boston. I'm usually up for anything, whether it's staying in watching Netflix, going out and grabbing a good beer (or several), or jumping in the car and going wherever.

I'm usually laid back, but can get pretty serious if the situation warrants it. I'm not outdoors type, but do spend a lot of my time outside walking places (Boston is a great walking-friendly city), and on the water in the summertime.

Other than that, I have no idea what to add here. I'm not really one to go on and on about myself, and really, you can only learn so much from an online profile anyway, right?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as an freelance/independent IT contractor, so my schedule varies greatly. I don't know if it's something that I will want to do forever, but it works for now, and I still have plenty of time to see where life will take me.

The rest of the time, I like to be out and about doing whatever comes to mind.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Computers/tech/etc (it is my job after all), sailing (racing), and making drinks (even though since I'm a whiskey person, I don't really like mixed drinks...go figure).

Also...
- saying inappropriate things
- getting parking spaces right out front almost every time
- reciting Denis Leary and George Carlin
- reciting historical facts randomly from the depths of my brain that even I didn't know I remembered
- determining what is and is not good whiskey and beer, and then being able to hold down tons of it
- various other things that I can't remember, but will when I'm nowhere near a computer making me unable to add them here
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My unusual combination of extreme friendliness and disdain for the majority of the human race. Also, my extreme amount of sarcasm.

TV Shows:
Fringe, Breaking Bad, Californication, Louie (other than this, I don't watch TV)

Music, just to name a few:
Alanis Morissette, Alice in Chains, BTO, Blue Öyster Cult, Blues Traveler, Cream, CCR, Crosby/Stills/Nash (and Young), Neil Young (and Crazy Horse), Dave Matthews Band, Tim Reynolds, Deep Purple, Dire Straits, ELO, Eric Clapton, Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, Pink Floyd, Queen, REM, Robert Cray, Rolling Stones, Rush, Steely Dan (yes, a group named after a stap-on reference in a book), The Band, The Clash, The Who, Hendrix, Yes, and not to forget...the great Warren Zevon.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) The feeling you get when you just pick up and go somewhere different.
2) The feeling you get when a song you love comes on the radio and matches your day/mood/what your doing perfectly
3) A well made coffee first thing in the morning
4) Internet/Telephone - some way to stay in touch with the rest of the world
5) A good scotch
6) can't think of a sixth one now...maybe later
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Oh a whole bunch of crap. Too much to write about, though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing a variety of things. On the road going somewhere, at home watching a movie, at a party or a bar, or just sitting by the water with a couple of friends. Always looking to shake things up and do something different.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ha! Nice try. If I admitted it, then it wouldn't be private, now would it?

If you'd like to grab a coffee, a beer, something else as arbitrary as one of those, or try something new and different...

You do not use text speak unless your on a phone without a full keyboard...

and most importantly, if you want to. You've obviously made it down this far, somehow, and I commend you for it. If you are interested in learning more about the person behind this shitty profile, go for it.
