My self-summary
My name is Rich and originally from the UK.

I'm looking to meet confident, outgoing people as friends.

I have a sometimes dry sense of humour with new people. But mostly it's daft fun with witty conversations. I love conceptual humour with twists of sarcasm whilst poking fun at common fallacies and social norms.

So all my negatives out the way. I'm positively open minded with other peoples' aesthetic views and axiomatic and rational with my own. I believe I am pretty well read, personable, articulate and like to make my own decisions using several sources of information not one. I still don't take myself seriously.

I appreciate others who use their wit to make others feel more confident and appreciated.

I'm looking for someone who is calm, creative and kind, who is ready to think confidently outside the box.

If I were to choose someone who was either kind or witty, I would choose the kind person every time. I'm very loyal and my friends will tell you that you won't find anyone more genuine. I sincerely hope not anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
Owning my own company.
Continually challenging myself and learning new things.
School of Autodidacticism.
Working on effectively using analogous reasoning where possible.
Hobby screen printing poorly, wasting too much ink and chemicals.
I’m really good at
Building client charters.
Making people smile.
Making people laugh.
Making shy people feel confident.
Making people enjoy and not shy away from their intelligence, which is something most people tend to play down.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is that I'm awesome and kind to everyone.

The six things I could never do without
In order of importance
1) Good friends
2) Interesting books.
3) A purpose and set goals outside of work.
3) Thoughtful and reflective silence. (For self knowledge and introspection.)
4) Several hundred news-feeds on one app (as I feel it's important to be informed.)
5) Early morning gym sessions.
6) My morning coffee, can't beat a nice cup.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything.

But mostly thinking about Voluntaryism, American history. What the premise of all human action is. How best to convey rational proofs of secular ethics to an increasingly pragmatic and uncaring world. Applying the Non Aggression Principle or NAP with regards to the utter failures of politics and statism.

Also logic, epistemology, European history, Austrian Economics, Business Cycle Theory, Agorism, Zeta issues, what to cook next and the various dance moves that I have not quite perfected.

I like to think about my next topic to write about, as I write for 2 major European mining companies in my spare time.

I am also currently writing my magnum opus on the science and ethics of negotiating with children. This is based on well researched empiricism rather than someones opinion. You should ask me about it sometime.

How to use a priori reasoning to persuade others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Socialising with some relaxing drinks and enjoying a fun conversation.

Sometimes I enjoy socialising with people too once I'm done anthropomorphising beverages.

Sometimes I spend it relaxing with a book as I'm a bit of a closet introvert. It all depends on my mood.

If I'm really bored, Freyja (my poor excuse for a cat) and I like to stare at walls.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am working to make world a better place. But I believe it's a multi generational process that starts with teaching logic instead of authority and peaceful parenting in the home instead of politics or shouting in the streets.

I enjoy books and audio books, sometimes simultaneously to test our capability of learning. I respect formal education, but I appreciate that the greatest minds learned from outside this structure. Therefore, I am currently researching about un-schooling methods as an alternative to private, public and homeschooling. This is for when I choose to have kids, which if I do will probably in my late 50's, sorry ladies. Maybe sooner for the right person. Also if you know anything about Montessori educational methods please message me.

I love reading about the history of the Gnostics, even from a secular point of view, which was the earliest form of Christianity before it became an institution for state power. Gnosticism is closer to Buddhism than the other forms of state religion we have today.

Despite the display of bookwormery on my profile, I love ALL PEOPLE and can spend hours chatting about none of the above. I am also told I am great at listening and very patient.

I am always surrounded by a sea of interesting people, but not found the meaningful connection I want.

Philosophy and universalising principles is the fulcrum of which I revolve around.

I am also dyslexic and slow to trust people.

I get what I want and I work for it.

I am a philosophical anarchist.

So now you know more about me than some of my closest friends as I have to live a secret double life. Have fun thinking up an original message. You don't have to find any of this stuff interesting for me to find you interesting.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–31
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
If you enjoy talking about the etymology of idioms or turning positive observations into cheeky references.

If your goal is to be happy and leave something positive behind, not just to be rich.

If you read this and you are not bored.

If you love extreme sports, skydiving, rock climbing, zorbing, zip wiring. I've done them all, but need an activity partner to push me even further.

If you want to join an acting class with me, because I suck at it.

Bonus points for confident introverts. :)

Really...I don't care, as long as you have a big heart and some self knowledge.

Thanks for reading.

Rich
