Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Rich, I'm originally from the UK.
I'm looking to meet confident, kind, outgoing people with shared
I have a sometimes dry sense of humour with new people. But mostly
it's fun and witty conversations. I love conceptual jokes with a
twist of sarcasm whilst poking fun at common fallacies and social
So with my negatives out the way. I'm open minded with aesthetic
views of others and axiomatic and rational with my own. I believe I
am pretty well read, personable, articulate and like to make my own
decisions using several sources of information not one. That and I
don't take myself seriously.
I appreciate others who use their wit to make others feel more
confident and appreciated.
I'm looking for someone who is calm, creative and kind, who is
ready to think confidently outside the box.
If I were to choose someone who was either kind or witty, I would
choose the kind person every time. I'm very loyal and my friends
will tell you that you won't find anyone more genuine. I sincerely
hope not anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I run my own company in China with 2 Chinese partners and I'm a
motivational speaker for teenagers and adults.
Continually challenging myself and learning new things.
Graduated from the school of Autodidacticism like all creative
Working on using analogous reasoning where possible.
My hobbies include screen printing poorly and wasting too much ink
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Building client charters.
Making people smile.
Making people laugh.
Making shy people feel confident.
Making people enjoy and not shy away from their intelligence, which
is something most play down.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is that I'm awesome and kind to everyone.

If you know how to fix tv's that would be great, but I have
lived without a working set for over a year, so I think I'll be
Community, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Master Chef,
Japanese, Thai, Greek, North African, South Indian.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In order of importance
1) Good friends
2) Interesting books.
3) A purpose and set goals outside of work.
3) Thoughtful and reflective silence. (For self knowledge and
4) Several hundred news-feeds on one app (as I feel it's important
to be informed.)
5) Looking after my body.
5) My morning coffee, can't beat a nice cup.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
But mostly thinking about Voluntaryism, American history. What the
premise of all human action is. How best to convey rational proofs
of secular ethics to an increasingly pragmatic and uncaring world.
Applying the Non Aggression Principle or NAP with regards to the
utter failures of politics and statism.
Also logic, epistemology, European history, Austrian Economics,
Business Cycle Theory, Agorism, Zeta issues, what to cook next and
the various dance moves that I have not quite perfected.
I like to think about my next topic to write about, as I write for
2 major European mining companies in my spare time.
I am also currently writing my magnum opus on Negotiating with
Children, The Average Don't Move, The Art of Engagement and Outside
of Shanghai. This is based on well researched empiricism rather
than someones opinion. Maybe ask me about it sometime.
How to use a priori reasoning to persuade others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Socialising, networking, or watching a film with some relaxing
drinks and enjoying a fun conversation.
Sometimes I enjoy socialising with people too once I'm done
Sometimes I spend it relaxing with a book as I'm a bit of a closet
introvert. It all depends on my mood.
If I'm really bored, Freyja (my poor excuse for a cat) and I like
to stare at walls.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am working on making the world a better place. But it's a multi
generational process that starts with logic and peaceful parenting
in the home instead of politics or protesting in the streets.
I enjoy both books and audio books, sometimes simultaneously to
test our capability of learning. I respect formal education, but I
appreciate that the greatest minds learned from outside this
structure. Therefore, I believe in un-schooling methods as an
alternative to private, public and homeschooling. This is for when
I choose to have kids, which if I do will probably in my late 50's,
sorry ladies, you will have to wait. Maybe sooner for the right
person. If you know anything about Montessori educational methods
please message me.
I enjoy reading about the history of the Gnostics, even from a
secular point of view, which was the earliest form of Christianity
before it became an institution for state power. Gnosticism is
closer to Buddhism than the other forms of state religion we have
today. But I am not religious, I enjoy my secular ethics too
Despite the display of bookwormery on my profile, I love ALL PEOPLE
and can spend hours chatting about none of the above. I am also
told I am great at listening and very patient.
I am always surrounded by a sea of interesting people, but not
found the meaningful connection I want.
Philosophy and universalising principles is the fulcrum of which I
I am also dyslexic and slow to trust people.
I get what I want and I work for it.
I am a philosophical anarchist.
So now you know more about me than some of my closest friends. Have
fun thinking up an original message. You don't have to find any of
this stuff interesting for me to find you interesting.
You should message me if

positive observations into cheeky references.

not just to be rich.
If you read this and you are not bored.
If you love extreme sports, skydiving, rock climbing, zorbing, zip
wiring. I've done them all, but need an activity partner to push me
If you want to join an acting class with me, because I suck at
Bonus points for confident introverts. :)
Really...I don't care, as long as you have a big
heart and some self knowledge.
