Somewhat of a walking set of contrasts. Outdoors, animals, road trips, camping, gardening. Indoors, movies, music, culture, food, beer, books, traveling.

I'm clever, stubborn, caring.

On a uni hiatus at the moment, instead I'm doing an apprenticeship in a field none of you will probably guess. Work takes up most of my time at the moment but being inside has made me really appreciate the outdoors on my days off. Lately I have been riding my horse quite regularly, neither of us are educated in horse riding so really it's blind leading the blind at the moment. But that's ok, makes it interesting.

Probably an over casual appearance? Loud voice? Laugh?

Books: I read much less than I should and much less than I used to. Classic literature, other clever and thought provoking prose. Hunter S. Thompson, Ian McEwan, Shakespeare, Richard Bach, David Malouf, George Orwell, Mitch Albom, T.S. Eliot, William Blake, William S Burroughs, Jostein Gaarder.

Movies: I watch too many. Into the Wild, There Will Be Blood, Inside Paris, A Scanner Darkly, Waking Life, The Last King of Scotland, Pulp Fiction, Clerks, Snatch, Gran Torino, The Fountain, Mallrats, Inglourious Basterds, Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting.

TV: Breaking Bad, True Blood, Lie to Me, Generation Kill, House, Arrested Development, Frisky Dingo, Archer, Iron Chef, Six Feet Under, Mad Men, Carnivale.

Music: Jeff Buckley, Boy and Bear, Bill Callahan, The Doors, Nick Cave, NIN, Rammstein, The Smiths, Kasabian, Pulp, QOTSA etc etc.

Food: Not seafood and not offal.

Beers and some sort of low key activity, I work early on Saturdays :'(

You can send a message composed of more than just "hi, how are you going?". I'm not necessarily looking for anything serious, even just a random message buddy on here is great.

I like to hear and talk about many, many subjects, so if you have a burning opinion or theory message it to me, and as long as it doesn't have a lot of technical theory in a topic I'm not sure in, I'm sure we could have a conversation about it! (For technical theory there is always wikipedia!)

Or if you would like to guess what apprenticeship I'm doing. I'm actually kind of shy about bringing it up because I get some interesting reactions.
