My self-summary
Your average techie-geek with a not-so-average open sexuality. Also, in a open/flexible/poly relationship right now, and just trying to explore the experiences the world has to offer. I'm looking for someone to connect with as friends and maybe more, who is comfortable with the fact that I have another partner, the wonderful OrnNornNorn

Cis male, sometimes fluid with gender presentation. I identify as "queer" but I've always found it difficult to connect with people using that term alone because everyone has a different idea of what "queer" is. So on OKC I'm just "Bisexual". They don't really have checkboxes for "pansexual" and "polyamorous"... Update 3/20/14 - they do now! OKC is awesome.

My favorite subjects to talk about are sex and technology. Sometimes the intersection of the two, but that usually goes somewhere weird.

I've been in the area for a while, but I never really got a chance to explore it. So I'm looking for people who may be interested in fun stuff to do around the Bay Area, or just to talk about stuff we have in common over OKC chat.

As of February 2014, I currently find myself happy with my dating situation. I am now currently no longer polyunsaturated, but I will definitely entertain the idea of friendship if we get along
What I’m doing with my life
i(work on)Phones. Sometimes this job requires me to travel across the globe, so I appreciate having Internet friends as much as real-life friends.

I recently completely my Masters in Electrical Engineering, and decided not to stay for a PhD. Working full-time isn't too bad, I just wish I had more time during the week to do something other than pass out when I get home.
I’m really good at
Noticing details.

Organizing things. Logistics. I love planning. Sometimes I would have a sexy dream but find that the entire dream is taken up by the planning of the sexy part, and I wake up before the action happens. :(

Fixing things.

Board games. Anything weirder than Settlers of Catan, I probably love. Things like Red November, Betrayal and House on the Hill, BANG! and Space Alert. I recently got Race for the Galaxy and I've found myself a little addicted to it. I'm also in a Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) group with my partner. Message me if you want to play!

September 2013 update: Sentinels of the Multiverse may be our new favorite game. We even volunteered with the publishers at PAX-Prime in Seattle...!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm really tall for an Asian guy. I also have really long, thick hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
I haven't had the time to read "books" in a while. I used to like science-fiction and short stories, but now I just read blog posts on the Internet.

Movies:
- Anything with Steampunk elements (They're usually horrible movies, but I love the aesthetic)
- Thought-provoking Science Fiction, such as "Moon" with Sam Rockwell.

Music:
Rock from the 80s. I'm not even ashamed of this.

Food:
Anything I grew up with, namely Thai food and Taiwanese street food. I wish I had more time to cook. :/
The six things I could never do without
The Internet
Friends I care about
Games
Food I grew up with
Technology and Gadgets
Bunnies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What cool stuff to make/do/watch/drink/eat next.

Why does OKC only allow cats and dogs as pets? I have a tank of tiny shrimp. Where do I put that?

Is is snowing in Tahoe yet?
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually out somewhere in SF doing something fun, in order to balance out the long hours spent working during the week. Or playing board games / video games with my friends at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not afraid to die, but I am scared of being alone.

Maybe that, followed closely by: I am in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with a group of wonderfully open-minded and sex-positive individuals. OK, I'm that kind of geek.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi guys
  • Ages 18–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to meet someone new and first connect on an intellectual level before moving onto the physical level.

You are interested in safe, consensual sexual exploration with me, possibly in a group setting with my current partner.

If you want to carpool to Tahoe to go skiing or snowboarding.

Oh yeah, also if you want to play Board Games.
